Just downloaded from one of the mirrors. So I can just flash in recovery and then I'm good to go?
Any issues with installing apps from the market?

Wipe data as in factory reset from recovery? Did you install via Droid X Bootstrap recovery or stock?

double lol for the win....

The new Motoblur is beautiful

Will install when root comes
You know, normally I'd feel guilty about using a public mirror for something like this, but since I'm already a proud owner of TBH app, I'm happily taking advantage of the higher download speed of my laptop.
It should make you mad some DG posted a link to the TBH servers and killed all the bandwidth. Its unfortunate that someone did that. But downloading from the TBH app was so slow. Lol.

Are you guys flashing back to stock (rooted) before installing this or are you just flashing it from whatever ROM you're on (after data wipe)? I'm on Liberty and just wondering if I should go back to stock first.
.
Alright just playing with this more and I have to say I am impressed with the default launcher on this. If you are on your home screen and hit the home button it pulls up a preview of all the screens and allows you to jump to that one (just like on the other launchers) Also a long press on home pulls up more than the 8 most recent apps, have not played with it too much to see how many it will show. Also the profiles for the launcher are really nice. The resizing is a little better (the other launchers are still a little better). The only thing I wish it had was a way to change the number columns or rows. Other than that it is pretty complete.
I am not going to be getting much work done at work today![]()

Why fight it? The worst that can happen is you don't like if SBF back to .340 restore your back up and nothing is lost....except a few text messages
That was the way I looked at it. I can't wait until someone smarter than I am figures out how to root this and I can remove the bloat, and then see how fast this thing can be. I can tell you at this point if you do not rely on Wireless Tether I am not sure there is a reason this has to be rooted right away. OK re-installing all the apps is a process, but I will live.

Must resist till root comes.... Have file downloaded but am hearing alot of good coming from this. Have to fight the urge to flash...![]()
I didn't fight it. I thought about it and realized I only use my root apps a small percentage of the time. The majority of my use for root is installing new ROMs. Plus, you can SBF back to 2.3.320 and go back to your rooted builds.
It's slick. The color scheme and small touches are beautiful. The whole system is more responsive. A lot of people won't like the color scheme because it's bright and "consumer" oriented rather than dark and robotic... but I think it's great. Very well thought out.
Moto has been extremely attentive to the criticism of Blur. Earlier phones had Blur really interwoven into the system and everyone hated it. The X had Blur, but a lot less of it and more of a filling-in of functionality where the stock lacked and got mixed reviews. This latest build has really cleaned up a lot of the complaints.
Always coming back to the locked bootloader, of course, but as a whole, Moto is a very attentive, responsive company with their phones. I'm a fan of this build.
