its not cool to rush the man. he has life issues to deal with that are a challenge at the moment. not to mention having to use a public library to pull all this off on what we all know is one g*d damned hell of phone to do anything on. give him time. hes doing great work for the elite and will work magic for it in time. thanks ken for working on this for these guys and gals. the elite has been a tough phone to do much on at all. its good to see someone breathe life into the old bird.
 
miui Yeah asking is bad...but this rom do need up date this miui 5/20 is way worst n slower den previous release
N reboots every 5 mins !!! So for now my friends u should
Flash back cm9 beta til ken updates!!!
 
As soon as a few people leave and the Wi-Fi gets better (at Starbucks) I'll work on an update


My phone will be shut off in a few days but I'll have an update out before then, working on it now


I apologize for the haitus, the update isn't booting and is giving me issues. My phone got shut off and things have gotten complicated with my kids. I'm still working on this but please be patient.
 
My last day on this rom :( too many force close issues and signal having issues reading wifi and 3 g ...Hopefully ken update soon plz!!!

This ROM looks amazing, really. UNFORTUNATELY the camera doesn't work. I'd use this as my daily driver if I wasn't tired of not having a camera from test driving cm9 last week. Someone PLEASE fix the Camera

Since this ROM is based off CM9, anything that does not work in that, will not work on this ROM either, ie camera.

I'd think once phenomx4 gets the camera working in CM9, this ROM would be updated...

This rom will be updated as soon add I have time to do so. Unfortunately time is one thing I don't have.

I've also been looking at the camera lately but I have very little knowledge about it so not making much progress

Does anyone want to help me test the new port? I don't have service on my phone so I cant tell if data works or not lol


Ok here is a wip build 7-16-2013 virgin mobile

Changes in this version:
#At first boot you may get a "process com.android.phone has stopped working" but it goes away shortly after, then after connecting a google account you get "process.gapps stopped working" but neither of these seem to really affect anything. I've read its a bug with miui 2.8.x
#Not sure if data works, need feedback since i don't have service
#Keyboard no longer reboots the phone
#File Manager force closes (will fix as soon as I get feedback about the rest of the rom)
#Gallery slightly cut off on bottom
#USB Mass storage doesn't work (you can still connect via recovery mode for now)
##Let me know about anything else

Kk so the camera duznt work too I'm downloading now and is there any way to get the memory card swap on the stock rom

No camera doesn't work, I tried a third party camera and it started to work but then crashed the phone.

By stock Rom you mean the gb Rom the phone came with?
