Wow where did you get that? Please upload it! :)

For fun, I pulled these files from where "LGMobile Support Tool" downloads the compressed "MS910ZVE_01.cab" file. After it extracted I saved a copy.

However, I get an error in LGNPST when I try to flash "MS910ZVE_01.bin"

Rename the file from cab to the word tot
There is another way to flash a cab file . But using the lgpnst u can try and flash the tot file . But you also need that in a zip file

I tried the cab method, and it was a no go. The DLL wouldn't register either. :(

However I did rename the BIN file to TOT, and we have a winner! Thanks for leading me in the right direction sir! :D

Big problem here.My data is working but I can't call or receive them.WTF!my prl says 40000 and my lifetime calls are At 0000.please help.
 
Ok calm down . You are in test mode . This can be fixed . First way is easy way just go to the lg tool and make sure you have all the drivers. Now goto the drop down and select the upgrade my recovery . But first try to see if its a update to the zve u just put in . Dont lose that cause u may have helped us get the zve tot file and now we have zvb and zve tot for the esteem.:D:eek::screwy::thumbup::thumbup::beer:

Sorry did u just answer my question?if so I have to wait to get home to do it.and how did I end up in test mode?
 
Good work, this method does work as a last resort, but be warned.. flashing a tot file from the emergency download mode like this will most likely get you stuck in "test mode" -- no more usb mass storage (and possibly other problems). But hey good work we have you to thank for this one :eek::D:thumbup::thumbup::beer:
 
I was in test mode. I was able to get out of test mode using lgpnst. I got a prl that says 3000 when it used to say 40000 when it was on test mode. I did a factory reset and nothing.I cant register the dll file from the video that fuzzy posted even with command prompt.Im wondering if i just put the latest prl if it would work?What should i do?

Right-click
Run as Administrator

Now you should be able to right click the .dll and there should be a register option

Edit: You can't run as Administrator (Sorry it's habit)

Except I couldn't find the LGNPST tool that was needed so I found one mixed in with a bunch of other junk...here I rar'd it...

As for the ToT/Bin, I would assume you could use any that were posted above.
I personally used a the bin I posted earlier...at least I think I did haha

Anyways, I followed that guide with these files and everything has been fine for this device. I hope someone finds this useful haha...

NOTE: You still need the VS910.dll and the Skin.dll.

Hello and welcome to the forums. I see you having a problem with a android device . So i get this straight you keep rebooting into recovery. Is the buttons stuck . What was you doing before this action taken place
 
Thank you thats the file i was looking for! What is the best ROM for the lg esteem? i have #2 now but it is slow and lags sometimes even freezes until it force closes.
 
HI, I have tried to unroot my phone,so that I can sell it, I went into a boot loop for ages, but managed to get out of it( Don't quite know what I did, I am back to stock, but think I am still rooted as Superuser is still on my phone. I have bought the Galaxy s4 so no longer need this phone, I am on ZVE, Can you tell me what to do, please
 
Cool just go into the playstore and uninstall . Once you have uninstalled just do a factory reset and you done .post back if any problems
 
Yes uninstall from the playstore .this is from the apk being updated . The updated version is still inside your playstore so its still on your lg esteem .
 
Now if it wont try unrooting again and when its done if the app is still their post back so you can do it manually .
