Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

So it looks like only CyanogenMod based ROMs will allow LTE to be enabled on the N4. Think I'm going to backup my AOKP install to test. I flashed the .33 radio on Build 6 and LTE never engaged. I love my N4 but I'd love some fresh LTE on T-Mobile.

10.04? Can't you hack the code to make it work on a newer distro? That is what I did to enable wireless printing with my Kodak printer, which had no official Linux support when I bought it (11.10; still working on 12.10).

I thought that AOKP is CM based so that it would work? Either way, I have no way of testing.

As for my wireless card, I've tried installing wrapper drivers, emulating the drivers, amongst other things but with little success. I've wondered if it is limitation of the 10.04 version, but I actually don't know.

So what phone do you plan on purchasing to replace your Galaxy Nexus? I was thinking about the S4, but at the same time vanilla Android has been good to me this past year and a half.

I'm just starting to research options. Now if there was just some sort of pre-release thread to get my juices flowing.

sigh... I know it's juvenile, but can I tell you how much I miss those days?

Some of the first posts of that 88,756 post thread are from WH notables.

Ha! Great thread, yep those were the days.

Still can't believe I lost my million posts and thanks..... :(

^I wasn't even a Top 100 of all posters in that thread but I was surely one of the Top Lurkers. I miss that thread. Not sure AF will see anything like it again. I mean, Steven pulled some crazy strings inside and outside of AF to make that thread go. 88k+ is just ridiculous. It is the reason I stayed a loyal member and became premium before going green. :)

That story sounds awfully familiar to my own story :D

Well I'm not sure how my quiet, shy and demure self made it into the top 10 posters but I still remember those days fondly. :D

Good morning all! The team made their early morning rounds, but I'll be going back to sleep. I had my first real night of sleep, night uninterrupted, which is really nice.

Happy Easter! He is risen and so am I it would seem, no? :)

Ttyl!

Hi folks! Glad to hear you're getting better all the time, Steven :)

For my fellow believing-type peeps: Happy Resurrection Sunday!

:D

BTW JBSourcery 5.1.6 is performing flawlessly. Another excellent Team Sourcery production!

It's great to hear you're recovering Steven!

Hmmm, let's review. You were felled on Good Friday. You make a miraculous recovery on Easter Sunday. Steven, if you pull any of that water-into-wine (or beer) stuff, I may have to reconsider my affiliation ;)
