Root Help Rooting LG Stylo 2

I am a complete newb to one-click-root... that said this Kingroot 5.0 BETA is impressive! I must have run it 100's of times in first 48 hours it was on phone (LGLS775ABBZV6). . .
Last night was using my tablet, watching a movie, p/u phone to see a screen had never seen with options have never saw... Debloat list, had error fix root in red... it had installed tencent antivirus as a system program......
So after all those hundreds of clicking over & over letting it run the new cloud assist root strategies, never getting over 34%, it gained temp root for a bit??? I am asking because now it does not have the "root strategy available" clickable "try root again" just "boost" which by the way fixed my phone from the getgo as in could not run "boost" with previous versions of Kingroot and it fixed where my phone was not allowing an "administrator" to be set, would force close that section under security.
So that has been my experience this last 12 hrs (when not snoring, lol).

Oh .You un-rooted android users on boost. I forgot you dont have a recovery. Now my question is., has anyone have success overclocking all 8 cores?
Set CPU isnt working properly and kernel turner force closes.
 
After root everything works . Except dolby. My dolby zip flashes but no dolby apk in system/data. Just letting all know root and twrp function great. You must let the phone go into sleep screen-off mode then twrp is fully functional. I've restored two backups successfully.

How u get root
 
Easy method if you rooted the lg stylo 1 then no new drivers are necessary. Same root process with an extra dm.verity zip to flash.
 
Yes the plus. Sorry if Im in the wrong thread.
Edit: dolby atmos works perfect and I had to use init.d scripts for cpu and gpu settings.

I'm attempting the dirtycow exploit.... won't be patched until December......... so far have it down to an apk for phone and adb folder with .bat file to execute. This is way far from the original downloading of so much off github it overloaded my internal memory through Termux!!!!!

if your ZV4 still, I have the binaries setup for adb and commands to execute dirtycow, it should work
not sure about ZV5 but ZV6 is out.......... let me know will check back later today
