Trying to lol. The only way I know to check whose tower you are on is with an app. If your settings software info says prl 00001 you are on vzw I'm sure. Have data roaming set to off btw. Curious what your before and after speed tests were...

1247/641. But yo that cant be accurate I hit 14 running Sprint...but my browser is way faster now...I could tell the moment I googled someting

Ya I never got upload at this speed before highest ever had before was like . 5 now that's easy. I am getting . 7-. 9 every time

Yea but its sprints fault. They provide this amazing data phone and with the 3d to come etc and yet they render them mostly useless by having a poor data network full of down or missing towers. What good is a data phone if it has nothing to pull data from?

4g is finally a possibilty for me but not for sprints efforts even though i have been a loyal customer for years. Sprints 4g map in NC is kind of sad, just dots over the top 3 or 4 cities...Verizon has covered half the coast here and all of the sudden too, wasnt here last i checked a month or two ago.

I tested vzw 4g speed in the store yesterday I was getting 6mb+ on down and up. It was a beautiful thing.

Thats what gets me about my broadband with tw, they give me like 16-19 down and .49 up...? I pay them top tier for that...charters second tier doubles that...

Ya the closest sprint 4g tower hear is in DC thats 2 1/2 HR away.
 
OK so just restored to my asop ndroid and my kbs down and up fall through the floor. Going to reboot see if that fixes it..... last test was 264/54
 
your prl shouldnt have changed. But check just in case, mine changed on me the other day without having done ANYTHING to it.

Thats 3g but poor...it said you were on 3g?

If anything is downloading in the background and using your radio it will affect that test ive noticed.

Maybe it was just a fluke? run a few, it shouldnt have changed...
