Root Here goes nothing, trying to get to VZW

Ya still the same 00001 and now my camera wont work.......how in heck does changing my prl effect my camera....I did a full wipe and still not workin.... guess I just does in poop.

changing the prl doesnt affect the camera, there is something else going on here...

A full wipe? what does that entail?
 
Ok the wipe ( factory,cache,delvic,format all.zip) did not work. But I restored to my gb r3 and its working..... I am thinking it my have not been working at all with that rom. I have to check the thread..... alright now back to speed test.....

curious, dunno what was causing your issues yet. Your speed should have not been affected either, there was something underlying, Oh well...
 
that makes no sense. I used it for months no matter what rom I flashed. The prl is just a preferred roaming list. Damn dude I dont know...wait...

when you go to setting/wireless networks/mobile network do you have data roaming disabled?
 
yeah set data roaming to off, select automatic on your cdma roam mode, and maybe enable always on mobile data?? does that fix it?
 
Found out what it was..... cm7 tweek... to use JIT..when I turned.that off got it to 1.2 and. 88....... yo how far away is your server
 
I never enabled JIT but glad you found the issue...

couple hours i think maybe an hour and a half...i havent run a test recently, i just flashed a rom 5 minutes ago too so i dont have it set up yet.
 
When u get it up tell me the miles.......

Well its better now... but seemed to be a little quicker on sense still... I think the 2. Whatever. I hit last night was a fluke though.... wonder what it is running 4g
 
Funny what to know how I new something was up...I started on steaming so I jumped on Netflix. And it kept buffering .... knew something was wrong....lol
 
the vzw 4g here was running 6mb and up sometimes 7mb both down and upload...i anticipate my 3g possibly increasing soon because of all the vzw people switching to 4g phones and not using 3g anymore
 
4g itself in Dallas is great...it's the coverage that blows. I get 7+ mbps down and 2 up when I am in a coverage area....but there are not many areas that have it...and this is supposed to be a strong 4g area

yeah thats what i was saying earlier about their coverage bands. VZW coverage of 4g is literally a wide band covering entire areas for miles where sprints band is basically just a dot on the center of a big city with maybe a couple thin branches off of it...

Wow....that's nuts.....u can probably completely avoid using a PC for downloads at that speed

I just read all 12 pages and its nothing we havent discussed over here, except that maybe just maybe if i call and ask nicely sprint will let me out of my contract without etf due to my crappy service, i doubt it.

Shroomz himself that posted that thread later said it would be anywhere from 3 months to 2 years to get kicked, probably depending on the level of offense, Im hoping for 3 months.

Nor do I think the few that use a vzw prl to torrent and get kicked are really raising the costs for the millions of others, oh well if it is the case, i guess everyone should wise up to sprints poor network and find a real carrier.

Im happy with my sprint bill and with my evo but none of that counteracts the fact that I pay them 99 a month for premium data of which i dont receive any. (i added a line for my gf otherwise its 69 or 79 i think)

Well that may be all fine and dandy, its the roaming data that pisses them off not the in network data because they have to pay vzw for the data you use on vzw towers...its about being cost effective, is keeping you worth your bill? Not if your roaming exceeds what you are worth to them...

So was that roaming or in network?

Good point - I would say only 1/10th of what I use monthly is roaming.
