I respect your higher culture levels :)

The closest to opera I get is Bohemian Rhapsody and What's Opera, Doc? Kill the Rabbit, Kill the Raaaabbbittt! :)

But those units are final..for Korea..no?

Nope. Not necessarily and we have no way of knowing.

And yes, I am taking into account the reviewer that came out and claimed he bought a "final" Korean version.

We have zero clue if any of those units were final software or even final hardware for Korea.

The reviewers may even be convinced that they know.

And at this point, I can promise with 100% certainty that they really don't.

And as some of you may be familiar with HTC using different panel suppliers and getting different results - Samsung just supplies themselves but European Galaxy phones have consistently looked very different from their US counterparts.

Think a new panel technology is going to have less initial variability? Or anything else in the new production line?

Nothing is as it seems, I'm selling grains of salt for cheap and recommending that you buy heavy and take liberally before believing any part of these reviews.

But - y'all believe what you think best. ;) :)

After all that's the essence of this thread, full throlle of speculation 😁

Any speculation on WHY carriers are being so cryptic about release dates and specs? I don't claim to know much about phone distribution, but this all feels too cloak and daggery to me.

Also causing me to refresh my screen on a speculation thread like a teenager, which is frustrating, although maybe their intent.

It's because they have a surprise up their sleeve, and some interesting announcement to tell us. Notice how in LG event they didn't even specify the phone spec at all just the camera and battery, display. But other than its pretty much unclear. Yet they are being so quite about it. What do you think?

My guess is that they want to keep as much distraction away from their current promotions as possible. For example, Big Red has a Father's Day Promo for the M8 and S5 of 99 per phone with a 2 year contract.

Lots of honest reasons are possible.

Sprint lost customers when my phone's announced release slipped when Apple got them held in customs.

They need to be sure other inventory is burning off as planned.

People need to be trained. Point of sales have to be in place.

All things and more requiring high competency levels.

From our carriers ok. :D

Could be IF Tmo really does have temporary 3/32 exclusivity. Why tout lower specs? Wait until just before launch.

Added:

Catch is, most carriers would not bother with a 3/32 after launch.

Too many edits. Need to post less using phone.

Do you think most people even know/care about the difference of 2/16 and 3/32? Other than the clearly obsessed (ahem, points to himself), I wonder if that's really a big selling point. Samsung is selling plenty S5s with no 32gb variant.

Lol. Why not have the 3/32?

Mega,

I tell you what... I'm in the Big Red store fairly often. NO customers know anything about specs. In fact, salespeople know fairly little about specs. I think you, me and early are basically the only ones in the world who actually care about them. :p

Apparently salesperson, business person and ceo of tmobile cares about specs and impact :)

Unfortunately that supports the theory that carriers would financially be more likely to sell the 2/16, since could be priced to turn more units. We would need to count on both being offered in that case.

I believe that legere does, not the salespeople, though.
Well I meant him as a saleperson, business and Ceo. But yeah for the most part it would seem that they lack importance of specs. Well that's how apple / Samsung has been so successful with their sales. Their attractive words get to people instead of them talking about specs and blah blah. People want to listen to gimmicks and what can phone do...

Legere is cool. Me likes Legere. :o

This whole subject is a tough call. I mean why did verizon get the wireless charging and no one else with the G2? Why does a Premium phone even offer a lower spec? Do carriers even have any say in what they get? Frankly I wish they did business like Apple and everyone gets the exact same thing. Some of us don't have any choice what carrier we are with and then are stuck with whatever they have or don't have. bleh . . . . :(

The so called S5 prime seems to be borrowing from the G3 except would have the 805.

Samsung Galaxy F pictured next to S5, has extra thin bezels - GSMArena.com news

I'm no expert at it and maybe my eyes are deceiving me, but don't the edges where the S5 bezels would normally be, look like they're photoshopped? Almost as if, someone just put that phone on a different lockscreen purposely and took a wallpaper that could extend the colors without noticable difference?

I drew a circle around the area I'm referring to.
