All good. Though I luv South Park, not a good fit for the others in the list. Crude & rude. Funny though IMO.

Lg had the best 2013 smartphone, imHo. If they come out with the 805, I believe they will have the best phone in 2014 and their reputation will soar, at least with the root community.*

*Side bar: A young lady, who works in my gym, just got the G2, so the LG IS making out to the unschooled world.

My daughter in law bought a G2 last fall when they first came out; I was disappointed to find out she doesn't know half the things this phone can do... I think the only reason she even chose it was because she had some bad experience with her very old Samsung...

As expected: Accessories. Pure sweet margin for carriers. Which also ties into my paranoia about 2/16 models with some carriers: 2/16 = more sales and more sales = more accessory sales. Mo' money and mo' margin. Let us hope both models are offered by carriers. Narf!

I know that you and a lot of people want replacing those components to be as simple as as changing colored Legos but it's just not.

Radio frequency motherboards are not trivial. Up the frequencies, up the data transfer rates and it requires a whole new board design so that your device doesn't fail due to parasitic effects creating sneak circuits thanks to the magic of alternating current creating rotating magnetic fields that in turn translate into other alternating currents on other wires where they don't belong.

While I love the idea of having an 805, does anyone know which design went through the FCC? A new design would certainly require a new blessing by the Friendly Candy Company.

If a G3 Prime becomes available in a month or two, see Plan A.

but see, I am not a gamer, don't care much about LTE-A..there must be something to convince me spend a few extra hundred dollars..

..do you think the girls will be nicer to me if I show them my G3 Prime instead of my "value" G3? :D
