Yes... If it has the radio with the gsm support just go to the gsmarena or phonearena search for the model number and it will tell you ur antenna radio specs
Remember look for model # not by metropcs phone.... If it doesn't have the specs. 3 strike ur out. Sorry...

From what I know all Hroark's camfix kernel is, is his cm11 kernel with the added files to support the new camera. He was able to figure it out by finding a tablet with the same exact camera that happened to ship with kitkat. Hroark provided a github link to his kernel's source code, so it should be easy to add support for it to this kernel. Is that possible DM? I might be making it sound easier than it is. Let me know if I'm wrong.

its been on my mind, and yea i think it wont be too hard
 
Been running the latest ROM & kernel for a few days now and although it works very nicely, I am experiencing drastic battery drain - 50% in about 15 hours...lost 11% overnight. The phone never sleeps! It appears that it is Google Play Services keeping the phone up. Have researched and found lots of topics but no solutions (for me) at the moment.

Well... Yes and no.. I like the fact that Hroark found kitkat blobs.. But.. As far as flash and all.. If it can't be done w those.. Then I'll have to use the older jb blobs with a camera wrapper.. Only issue is it'd have to be 2diff roms and kernels

For anyone else experiencing rapid battery drain due to Google Play Services, I found a fix by following this guide. I had to follow method 2. I manually created the folder "init.d" and placed the script in it. I then downloaded this free app and set it to run the script automatically at boot up.
Since doing this the phone has been sleeping like a baby! Hope it can help someone.

dont really need to use an app to run init.d tho.. kernel / rom will support it natively..

i will be incorperating this into my kernel zips...


UPDATE
Here i hhave the above kernel with sysinit, init.d support and the gms fix in the zip.. enjoy

Flashed Latest Rom With Latest Ov5693 Kernel. Booted fine all ok but when opened the camera this appeared:

I thought the kernel With ov5693 support included the Cam fix lol

Also the led flash don't work with the supercharged ov5693 Kernel Like in the hroark cam Fix that breaks led flash.

Breaks the led??? What led are we talking about.. I am clueless cuz I don't have ov5693
