Root [MetroPCS] [ROM][F6] Xperion ROM **Updated 2/11/2015**

The stock LG camera is one of the reasons why I went back to this Xperion rom after trying CM11. It's too good.

Been jumping between different roms way too much the past few days. I'm almost afraid I'm going wear wear out the nand with all the flashing and restoring I'm doing. Gonna test out the latest Xperion now.

So far between this and Stock 4.4.2 are great and since camera is a key thing for you i'm using CM11 because of the 4.4.4 you can download a camera from the app store suggested by GameTheory and right now i'm using the camera "A Better Camera" and everything works fine.

Well let's hope! lol better and more stable roms will come out if anyone works on them which i hope so.

Is there a command to remove the SuperSU from settings menu? This isn't a ROM request, just wanting to remove for sake of security, mainly in case of theft. I usually hide SU so that it can't be found by app drawer/google search.

I forgot to mention. Have you gone into SuperSU settings to the security section? You can enable su pin code and a couple other things if you need to secure it.

Its all the way at the bottom of the settings tab. When you check the box it says all pro features are enabled even if you didn't purchase the pro version.

[Edit] I uninstalled the pro key and the option to set a pin code was not available. The I checked the option that said "Enable Pro" and then supersu restarted and all pro features are available again

Hmm, that seems strange. But, if it work 4 U and does not turn out to be a trial of some sort. God Speed!

You gota admit, thats slick thinking on their part. If they didnt do that, I bet they wouldnt of received 1/4 of what they have received now.
Still the best over the rest of them.......
 
Yo GT, im gonna use your rom for a while for college since im gonna need earphones with mic and the 4.4.2 dont work and your rom is the best on 4.1.2, i just got one question, how do i change the battery to the rectangular one? gravity box makes it all funny looking... thats my only question

CM circle battery can't be changed.

I've got the F6 with the 8/19 Xperion rom on it. All is well with that rom, but I've got a problem trying to get an unlock code to work.
I've got an "Ultra" sim, which is a tmob wholesaler. With that sim it shows "Service Provider Locked." I then do " 2945#*500# " on the phone dialer. I get the SIM Unlock Process screen. The only selectable option is "Service Provider Lock". I then enter the provided SIM unlock code "redacted" and that did not work (tried that twice, once with an AT&T sim card).
I just don't know 'why' it wont work. I'm ordering another unlock code from another company to see if that might be the problem, but wanted to post here to see if anyone else might have had a 'unlock code' problem?
Thanks for any help. Other than no phone service, the F6 seems to be working well on this rom. I checked the build.prop file and it shows model LGMS500, brand MetroPCS and name f6_mpcs_tmo_us . Is that the way it looks on a 'stock' metro phone and would that have anything to do with the unlock code not working? (just a shot in the dark). Thanks again,

Here's the thread for trouble shooting carrier unlocking, you can post your question there or look through the thread for any suggestions already given. I don't deal with carrier unlocking and can't really help you with that. And build prop is fine.

And that reply nailed it. I was inputting the SIM unlock code instead of the SPCK code (service provider unlock).
