FYI:
41 1/2 hours after unplugging phone, I had 18% battery remaining.
Would have let it go down further, but wanted to go to sleep, and was afraid to let it go to zero for fear of killing the battery.
Still on Anthrax v 009
MikG 2.61
You sounds like me. Time off charger is misleading. I was running a deck-gingerbread build over christmas and I went like 36 hours between charges, but I didn't use my phone much. The other night with Anthrax I burned through my battery in like 9 hours, but I had about 2 and a half hours of screen time and another hour and a half maybe of music (stock battery). If you use your phone, I say 12-16 hours is good. Getting over 40 hours is either light use or an extended battery.Wow! O_O Was this obtained with minimal, moderate, or heavy use? I use my phone as a music player since I sold my iPod, I text quite a lot, I use the Twitter for Android app a lot too.
Is the On Demand governor with this kernel still the best one of choice?

Everyone has different definitions of light or moderate anyway. My two biggest battery indicators are how much screen time I can get off of a charge, and how much music playing can I get out of a single charge.
from the xda thread:chad.goodman said:I am sharing my work out of the kindness of my heart, I ask for no money, i expect nothing in return. Im basically doing you all a favor.
Im not trying to prove anything, nor do I have anything to gain from sharing. I know there are a lot of other developers out there that are better than me, and I never said I was the best. I gave features to the 3D that prior to my kernel, were not available on any 8x60 device that im aware of. (USB HOST MODE, +mA, HBR BLUETOOTH, HW ACCEL, QUICKCHARGE, HID MODE... just to name a few)
Due to the drama that continues to come from sensation users, my goals of making this available to other devices have been discontinued. I have enough stress with family, friends, and my cats, I dont need the stress of haters.

it looks like chad will not be porting this kernel to other devices any time soon:
