I installed the portion that needs to be downloaded on my PC also, but when I try to use app Creator online it just brings ne to the page to enter my email to request access. I requested access 2 days ago and nothing. Has Google emailed you giving you access? I hope thus doesn't turn out to be a long waiting process like Google voice was a year ago!

BTW, still no call for me. If I don't get one by 5 I am going to call them and I might have to get in line at verizon in the morning. Either way I will have my Droid X at 10am!
 
Just got a voicemail from Best Buy Mobile. They said I can come by anytime tomorrow to pick up my Droid X.

What? If I did my math correct she said 22 hours at 10:30 a.m. which in 22 hours would be around 8 a.m. which a lot of Verizon stores are opening.
 
Can't wait, glad the day is almost here. I remember getting the EVO 3 weeks ago and within 2 days deciding I wanted the X instead. I kept thinking, man it's gonna be a loooong 3 weeks!!
 
Nice u guys. Not sure where I am on the preorder list, but it didnt reserve it until July 8th. Had to wait to get paid. Anyways, i see the calls are starting to roll in. Ill give them a few more hours before I call them. Im not the most patient person in the world, lol.
 
Got my call about 30 minutes ago. I was SECOND on the list. My store here in Virginia Beach VA only got 8 in stock. So they aren't bothering with appointments since they only got a few.
 
Just called my BB, and the Best Buy mobile employee told me that they will call me tomorrow, I told him don't you mean today and he said no, that they have not got them in stock yet and when they come in they will call me.

I don't think its actually live yet
edit: We will be granting access to App Inventor for Android over the coming weeks.
 
My BB doesn't have them in stock yet.... Wonder if I can get my deposit back if they don't come in and I get one at the Verizon store.
 
Today is going to be one loooooong day.

Work will pass the time, I hope. Otherwise I'm going to print up the actual size picture of the Droid X and tape it over my current phone....>.>

You joke, but before the promo units hit stores I did something similar to see if I would like the size of the phone. I cut out 2 pieces of card board to size, stapled them together, and then glued an acurate size picture of the face of the phone to the cardboard. Lol it actually turned out pretty good.

And 20 hours to go for me.

That sucks. Guess that's verizons way of making sure they didn't break street date LOL.
 
I have one reserved (though I haven't gotten a call yet), but I think i'm just going ot order online at midnight and get it friday. I'd order Friday for the free activation, but I don't know if they'll be out of stock by then.
