The CSR came back and said, I'm sorry it's still not showing up in my system which surprises me. She said that I should call back on Friday to have my date changed since that is the day it's due to be released. I asked her if there is a pre-order scheduled since she asked me if I wanted to pre-order. She said with this phone no one knows for sure. They are told one thing one day and something different another. I asked again about my date changing from 12/28 to 12/9, she said she'd note my account that she said it could be moved, but I would need to call on Friday to complete everything.

Had my hopes up. I am in the same boat. Got four incredibles on launch day. I was recently told by CRS that my day could be moved up a month but I had to order through telesales. They would put a note in my file saying it could be moved up, but would only move it up by calling back to #611 to order.

That is a true bummer. I wasn't even calling to harass anyone this time. I had NO intention of asking anything other than about moving my date. When she asked ME do I want to pre-order I thought I'd pass out. I of course said YES PLEASE!

I think this points to the fact that with this phone even the employees are in total confusion.

Come to think of it. What she did was incredibly mean. It's like asking a person starving if they'd like a cheeseburger then saying, nah just kidding. :mad:

If Verizon does it you know the other carriers will follow or already did it. Verizon is not going to give the competition something to use as a leg up on them

They were the first (and only that I can remember) to get physical proof instead of a "CSR told me so".

Haha, yeah, I am sure there is on little tidbit that allows them to use the exclusive in their title.

Edit: oops I had seen another exclusive title from another site, but this was rootzwiki, where the docs on the OP came from.

I assume you're new to this thread, there are no such things as 'no ifs, ands, or buts'. Wait and see but don't believe it's 100% at this point.
 
Damn... of course Im leaving for the Keys for vacation on the 8th, go figure. If ur in the cbus area, try and save me one :p ... just hope there are some scraps left over from the gnex vultures when I get back next week! I just cant scratch the Rez!!

The only time I think you can so "no ifs, ands, or buts" is when you are holding it in your hand.

All indications point to a Friday release. All indications are the letter at this point.
 
While the Google Wallet thing sucks, I think it's crazy that anyone expected any different.

1. The only device you can use Google Wallet on right now officially is the Nexus S 4G on Sprint.
2. The GSM Nexus S has this functionality disabled
3. The GSM Galaxy Nexus has this functionality disabled

Everyone is crying foul over this not being a Nexus device anymore when MOST Nexus devices, including the ones seen as "purely pure Google", don't have access to it anyway.

It's not a HUGE deal considering GW will eventually be cracked over to the GNex anyway.

Once he plays for the Bears (can't we ever get rid of Favre?), all that needs to happen next year is the inevitable Stafford injury. Then Favre can sell his soul to the Lions, covering the entire NFC Central. The guy needs to disappear, he hasn't been effective in years, why is he still considered a viable NFL quarterback?

No. There are still some ifs, ands or buts. However it looks more promising than the last 5 or 6 times we've gone down this road.

Because they do website updates on central, USUALLY. But pre orders would start in the first time zone to hit midnight.
Are you really trying to make sense of verizon?? :p
