Sorry to bump this, but the thread is moving at break neck speed and I'm really hoping someone out there might have an answer.

I just went into my corporate verizon store. Spoke with district manager nexus is out tomorrow unless they change something at last minute. Plenty of stock, no appointment neccessary.

While im shooting the stuff with him, another guy walks in. District manager recognizes him and says Nexus is out tomorrow bro.

My head is spinning !!!!!!!!!! some are saying yes and then the next post will say no.

I called all the stores in my area (Worcester, MA) and NOT one has said anything about tomorrow. They all say "Haven't heard a word and definitely not tomorrow"

So we watched a bit of Boardwalk Empire last night, the first episode. Seems pretty cool so far. I didn't know it was set in the 1920's. I love period shows and movies. If I had known that, I think I would've watched it since the beginning.

The only period drama I can't stand is Spartacus. And I love roman-themed shows (like Rome). I can't get into that one.

BOARDWALK EMPIRE was awesome!! The season finale was amazing! Do you have HBO on demand? That's how I watch it.

Also, please remember that the Razr is an Android phone and while some of you may not be interested in it, there is a forum full of people here that are. There is no reason to bash the phone or anyone that uses it.

Last, as I've said quite a number of times. If you see a problem post please please please report the post and don't quote or comment on it.

Sounds to me like the NE stores didn't get the message.
 
Long time lurker, first time poster. I just had the corporate store in Spanish Fort, AL (on Mobile Bay in Southern Alabama) confirm that they have a "few" in stock and will be able to sell them tomorrow. I'll definitely be there at 9 when the store opens.

After having a OD (ordered on the first day it was available in Nov 09) I am ready for this phone! I had a one year contract on the Droid, knowing that something great would be available in a year or so. I followed the rumors in late 2010 that a great phone from Motorola would be announced at CES 2011 in January, which of course turned out to be the much-delayed Bionic. Finally we're here at the Galaxy Nexus, and I sure hope the wait was worth it! With the rate this technology is advancing, I still would do a one-year contract if it were still available. I do think the Nexus will be the best phone of the current crop to have for two years, however.

Many thanks to all the posters who have keep us up-to-date and entertained. I noticed I have given over 500 thanks before my first actual post! I also became a premium member because I really appreciate the job Phandroid and Android Forum do.

I can tell you that I called 2 stores in my area and one said they had 15 phones. The other said 20 to 30. They say its first come, first serve.

so I would call and see if they can tell you how many phones they have and base your plans on that.

Anyone know the rule for employee's getting phones before customers?

Um, tomorrow is still this year guys and girls. The fact that they FINALLY said something about it though should be reason to be excited, not sad, I have a really good feeling about tomorrow.
 
first post for one of the many lurkers!

dealing with several months of this nonsense (started with bionic fever in something around June!)

so last night, my gf looks at me and says 'so...this phone that you're obsessed with... its fictitious, no?' I'LL SHOW HER! :)
