OK, I just got word from my Verizon rep. They are so pumped about the Droid RAZR that they have come up with a new promotion starting tomorrow:

Buy a RAZR at regular price and get a Samsung Galaxy Nexus for free. (The ultimate disrespect shown to the Nexus)

/jk -- but I could see it happening with all the crap we've seen so far.

They must just throw it in the bag like the free samples at teavana they try to get rid of.

So it took some pictures of the TPU case on my nexus for you guys. I got the smoke color. It fits really well and keeps the slim feel, the only thing is the part that covers the volume buttons applies pressure to them so I found myself changing the volume just by touching it. I ended up cutting the volume key overlay out of the case and I have no more issues!

Thanks for the pics. I was still debating getting a case but after seeing your pics I'm pretty much convinced that I'll be happier with absolutely nothing touching the phone.

I've had no screen protector or case on my DINC for a while now and can't believe I ever started with them on. So much better with nothing and it has taken some pretty bad falls and suffers constant sneak attacks by my kids who use it as a toy phone.

hmm they do like nice n thin, are they rubbery? like can i slide it into a holster or it'll get all squished?

It is rubbery.. but it has firmness, or almost a little backbone to it.

got a call from teh clearwater verizon guy I talked to yesterday saying it was releasing tomorrow and that it was a really weird launch. He seemed suprised it was releasing tomorrow. when I talked to him yesterday he claimed to have no idea when it was relasing. i guess Ill see if my appointment holds out tomorrow.

It's very strange some stores are saying it's going to be available tomorrow with total certainty and others say there is no way it's going to happen. I can understand some regions not getting stock at the same time, but still, there should be widespread communication to these stores about when they can sell the phone.

I, for one, would not be pleased if I walked into Steven's store tomorrow and the phone was for sale. There is a difference between lying and concealing information.
