vzw reseller 1) it's supposed to come out thursday. no stock yet, dunno when stock will be in.

I'm southern wisconsin, and got a yes for thursday, as of Monday evening. This was a corporate store. Retailers and Authorized dealer both were mum on the subject.

The Wireless Zone in East Providence says they only have 2 in stock and a couple people have already reserved them. I can't get there for opening because of a damn conference call!!!

A store in Chicago is saying that they can bill it to my account today and have it ready for me to pick it up tomorrow.
That means it's in the system, guys. We are good to go!

The stores that aren't saying anything don't have their stock yet. When it comes in, they are able to say it will be released tomorrow.
They can't sell what they don't hav, so why would they say it will be available? And Verizon doesn't want people coming in expecting to buy a phone when there aren't any there, so the policy is "if you don't have it, you don't have it".
Seems pretty simple to me. Kind of like what you would call a soft launch..........

they do a bunch of shows that week, they always all sell out though. They actually do a free one in the morning of St. Patty's day, but, obviously, you hafta get there reeeeally early.
huh, lotsa RI-ers! I actually work in Taunton, so if I can't find a place here that has 'em I'd be willing to drive out there, seems pretty mixed, though.

When from his computer there arose such a clatter,

He woke up his Mac to see what was causing the ruckus,
In the back of his mind thinking,
