in the verizon support documentation there is a "simulator" that works to help show users how to user their phone

it's not a real simulator like you could get from RIM or the Android SDK (and doing true device emulation in the sdk is nearly impossible, the RIM emulators are awesome!

Just went downstairs to my Verizon store. The second I walked in my sales guy calls me over and tells me that we're all set for tomorrow :) I'm positive he isn't lying to me because we are buying 4 phones from him. I cannot wait!!!!
 
Does Anyone Know if Best Buy will have it Available tomorrow as Well? Here in Florida I tried 3 and all of them did not know of a Release Date???:confused:
 
Two associates at my corp store confirmed tomorrow was the day. So I ask if I can schedule an appointment for tomorrow morning... I'm sent to someone else who says "There is no way this phone is being released tomorrow. Anyone who told you it is doesn't know what they are talking about. This isn't an Apple release so I'm not hiding anything, this phone will not be released tomorrow, period."

Verizon may have worst internal communication of any company I've ever seen.
 
I got a second call from another store in the dfw mid cities area...they said they are getting them tomorrow, but they are not expecting the shipment to come in until 2pm.

Yesterday I was saying when the OTA goes ou,t outside of an official press release, that would be the best info we have. I am now a 10!!! :D

Can current GN owners please post here when/if they are getting an OTA

Oh, I said that I thought an internal email went out about the white razr and the nexus. He said no such email was sent. He said the last email about the nexus they received was last week when the Dec 9th launch was cancelled.

WTF?!
 
Afternoon, Nexicans! (Good morning for me haha)

So, a little concerning information to pass along:

I called three local VZW stores and asked if they knew about a release tomorrow or if they had a demo I could look at. Here are the responses I got:

Store 1:
We have heard rumors of a tomorrow release date but do not know for certain. We do not have a demo. We will have stock tomorrow, just not certain of how much.

Store 2:
We have heard rumors that tomorrow is the release date but not certain that will hold true. We do not have any in stock and do not know when we'll be getting them.

Store 3:
We haven't heard anything about a release date. We do not have a demo and do not have any in stock right now.

Now, having said all that, I am going to take all responses with a grain of salt. I spoke to sales rep at store 3 last night and he told me to my face that they do have stock, but cannot bring them out until release date. Or perhaps I should take his response with NaCl. GAH I'M SO CONFUSED! SGN, please to be coming out tomorrow!

(all locations were in SE Michigan, Detroit Metro area, FWIW)
 
Someone posted this on an Engadget discussion thread thought it was pretty funny. If anyone knows the song "Stan" by Eminem then they will get a kick out of this.
