Ok good! I thought I was going crazy for a minute because no one else has really mentioned it in the forum or on blogs or well anywhere since the announcement to my knowledge. I thought people would be more excited about it!

I'm happy too. There are workarounds (NoLED app), but I missed it coming from OG Droid to Droid Charge.

Not for me. Tried from two browsers to verify it wasn't caching or something as I have only checked that from one prior.

Social media is one of those completely valid ways that consumers can get their voices heard. Twitter and Facebook are completely ethical ways to get the message across. No one should have a problem with the consumer finally having a unified voice, it's one of the ways we will maintain our rights.

Now suggesting we e-mail folks or get a hold of their other contact information is bad news(not that you were suggesting that).

Why is that bad? When we did it when the Incredible had all of its problems it worked out quite well. We were all very respectful, aired our complaints and a lot of people got calls or emails back. I even got a credit on my account.
Can't hurt anyway. And the email addresses can be found by digging on the website anyway.

Until I came to these forums I thought they were standard on all Android devices.

I'm surprised they're not on all cell phones in general. So convenient! If my boyfriend's iPhone 4 had one we would probably get in fewer fights when he doesn't respond to texts haha

The awesome thing about this kind of response is that at least one person's job at Verizon is almost undoable right now because they can't monitor @VerizonWireless for other support issues. Now yes, that sucks for folks needing non-Galaxy Nexus assistance, but that means that person is complaining to their boss, who is complaining to their boss, and so on.

It's the only good thing about Twitter I hate it otherwise.

eh i actually like it. i live in PA and i'm a rabid 49ers fan. helps me follow their beat writers. that and the parody accounts that make jokes are all that i use it for though.

but back to the nexus tweets. there are so many of them that its ridiculous. i doubt it will do anything but at least i'm helping to annoy someone at verizon about it.
