I have experienced that in Nashville. Never again!!! lol. Although it is funny to watch all the folks in their 4WD zipping along yet not realize that the ice below that snow really hinders your stopping distance.

Its not funny when you see the same idiots do it every single year and cause 90 car pile ups when they should know better. You'd think people would know how to drive in snow in MI but they always forget.

Nice, there's a Costco within public transit distance of me. Anyone know how I might get their bundle without a Costco membership?

I've got a Costco membership...are you talking about the one in Everett? I'm trying to figure out if it'll be worthwhile for me to get over there Friday or not...if they have a bundle I'll probably try.

If you've got a debit card, an AMEX credit card or cash you just need a friend with a Costco membership to get you in the door.

Hey what do you guys think the chances are of walmart getting this phone on release day??? If they do what are the chances of a midnight release there?????

At my local Wal-Mart the wireless employees go home at 9 and no one else is in the loop how to ring you up.

Nobody close enough to help over the next day or two before the nexus comes out-- we just moved.

It is all good. I feel like I am whining about a distinctly first world problem. :)

We all understand! LOL.
If you have a data plan already and are just waiting to upgrade your phone then no one actually has to be by you. They would just have to give you the i.d. #s so you could 'activate' the phone. Ez-peazy. (at least in the theory in my head)

For those of you who remember my coverage conundrum and switching from T-Mobile. After seeing all this stuff about Google Wallet not working on the GNex I'm worried again that it won't really be a nexus device. I called the guy I've been working with at the corporate VZW store and told him not to bother holding one for me on launch day. I want to wait and see whether it's a real nexus device or not.

I'm going to re-check service with my new sim card at the new house at closing. If I can make T-Mobile work there, I'll probably go ahead and get a GSM GNex. Otherwise I may still go with the verizon. Funny feeling after spending so much time hoping it would come out NOW.

The corporate store just told me they didn't know when the phone is coming out and that they didn't have a release date. So my local a authorized retailer said they are going to give it to me Friday, so the corporate store loses my business.

I think I may give the authorized retailer that promised to hold me one a call, at least he acted more helpful than my local corporate store.

I believe you don't have to me a member of COSTCO if you order it online...then again I don't know if COSTCO will be offering the GNex online.

I deal with 30 Walmarts as work clients. They all do this. Once Connection Center is closed, you're waiting til 9:30am the next morning.

Just called the Polaris corporate store in Columbus, Oh. Made an appointment for 9am friday. The guy said that they have no idea when it's coming out. I told him that I will take my chances and just call tomorrow to verify.
I'll be at the same store at 9am Friday, so there will at least be two people in the line.
