So i called Customer service and got our upgrade pushed up so i preordered which is GREAT and all butttttt
the guy didnt give me an order number or i dont have anything but he took my credit card and said it's gonna be preordered and shipped the 28th
anyway to check that? you need an order number huh...the upgrade details online still say June 2010

WOW dude...no need to be harsh. When someone says, "Pre-orders will be received on the 29th." And people plan accordingly and then you call and you get attitude after waiting months for it.......I took off work. I guess I can't enjoy a day filled with hot pockets and Xbox 360 in my mom's basement like you waiting infinity days for a box to show up at my door step. I'm not trying to make anything burn brighter! And I don't care if people got theirs today! I just want mine on the date I signed up for it! You know I love how some of you guys get all high and mighty, trying to act all Christ on the cross with me here.
if anyone is interested phantom skinz have their screen protectors available for pre order, says "This product is available for pre-order only and will begin shipping once the device is released." I have read good reviews on them. price is $9.95 for 2 (screen only)

Yes, I know there have been inconstancy in their information. BUT, one thing we know - it releases on the 29th. Anything more/earlier/better is just gravy. BFD if someone gets their's before you get yours. If they DIDN"T get it earlier than you, does that help YOU in any way.
Try making your own candle burn brighter rather than trying to put others flames out
+1000.... I think that's why there aren't as many people on here...it's turned into a huge WHINEFEST! Nobody wants to hear every single story about a CS rep who didn't know the ship date. We get it!

Why are people complaining about the Incredible not arriving until the 29th now?
You guys do realize it's barely been 2 days since we pre-ordered. It's actually been only 1 day (even if we ordered on the 18th because we did that at night).
Not complaining about the incredible not arriving on the 29th......I called on an unrelated topic and they told me all order would be received on MAY 3. They said it was only SHIPPING on the 29th. I am just really getting sick of being jerked around...that's all. I never had some much trouble GIVING someone $150 of my money before in my life!

I actualy installed the phantom shield on my friends Droid and i have to say i wasnt that pleased with it. 3 months later and its all starting to peel off of the phone even the screen cover has formed imperfections. ( i guess thats why you get two sets for $10)
I already ordered the Zagg screen protector because ive had it on my iPhone for a year now and its still working great, even after removing it and re-applying it when i had to have my iphone replaced...... just my experience

OK...I was just relaying information that I was given back to people who asked. I am ticked.....but this happened hours ago and I didn't come on here all pissed about it then. I was told everything was being done so that I would get my phone on the 29th. I was just blowing off steam AND relaying some pertinent and ON TOPIC information.
Gosh, one second you guys are like STAY ON TOPIC.....the next you are all like...STAY ON ONLY TOPICS WE WANT. Some people pot about how they are going to accessorize their phone like a 10 year old talks about Barbie outfits. I don't care about THAT, but I didn't take the time to lambaste them either.

Just make sure that someone at home plugs it in for you so it's charged and ready to roll when you get home!
This is all hilarious, never have I seen a thread that had so many useless posts as this one.
Seriously, the ratio is like 1 out of every 15 posts that provides something other than people chatting back and forth. It got to the point last week where you had 3 or 4 pages of fluff being posted every hour with one post in all of it worth reading, but you had to waste your time filtering through to try to get info.
I quit reading it all and I think I'm headed to the EVO anyways, but I still check in on the Incredible cause it is the closest phone to the EVO so far and may as well learn what I can.
You guys keep it real and keep updating what you had for dinner, how you felt about it, why it would have been better if Verizon/HTC/Best Buy or some other company could have made it better, and we'll just continue to read it as any captive audience should.

Did you read the guy droning on about how much better the Iphone will be last night? Is there anything useful LEFT to post any more? I think we're all in a holding pattern until the phone gets to us!

We've been so juiced on angst here over the many months of uncertainty. That's now OVER! I'm thrilled that some lucky ba$***** got their Incs early, and the fact that they are sharing FIRST HAND info/pics/video etc is terrific. Makes the fact that my Inc will be here soon even sweeter.
I need a case, and settled on grabbing something immediate with the idea that the 'perfect' case might turn up as other vendors paddle onto the Inc wave. I checked out the Body Glove on VZWs site, and just happened to tool over to the BodyGlove site where a nice surprise was waiting:
[yeah, yeah, the pic is an Eris. VZW have the Inc model in the Inc accessories list already, so it's coming soon]
Two very kewl features:
- The belt clip articulates to form a kick stand for portrait or landscape orientation
- The belt clip AND the knobby bit BOTH come off to create a no-clip packet case
See? A good long surf and a little weed afterward leads to some great design ideas!
Maybe this baby and a Steinheil screen protector [maybe Crystal but probably their anti-fingerprint] will be a good setup for me. At this rate I'll have all the bits lined up before the phone arrives

Ordered my Incredible today. Got it on a 1 year contract for $229. WAHOO!!!!! Had to use a coupon code for free shipping though. Got it on retailmenot.com. Cant wait for this thing to get to my house on the 29th! What a HIGH point, and the perfect day for it!

I was on the phone checking one thing or another with my order and a customer service rep told me ..okay, that all then.....well, this will go out to you ON the 29th and you'll get it on MAY 3rd. A few other people had the the same experience...but shhhhhhhhh....if we talk about it....we're whiners and panty waists.
