***Official HTC Incredible Thread***

I was told when I pre-ordered that my plan would not change until the Incredible had been programmed with my new number. The plan would change immediately and the phone shipped same day. Well, I just received a text from Verizon that my plan changed 1 hour ago. Soooooooo, will I see the Incredible tomorrow???

I do this with my droid- red case plus universal pouch.. The pouch that they make specifically for the phone is not designed to accommodate a case, but VZW has plenty of universal pouches designed to fit a variety of phones..

I already ordered a 16gb so my 2gb would go to my niece's Intensity I upgraded for her a month ago. So she's the one hoping for it.:)

Right now, with the Flash Lite 4 that's on the phone, it's going to depend on how they're executing the Flash content on their site.

For instance, YouTube videos are working right now, but other sites start to load and then don't finish or give an error message.

When Flash 10.1 and Air 2.0 are released, in the near future, we should hopefully see the vast majority of all Flash content on the web, available of our wonderful Incredibles. :)

Not to scare you guys or anything, but at UPS, we sometimes actually held 2nd day air packages in our warehouses for an additional day.

Example: Vendor A is located 10 miles from Customer B and sends something 2nd day air. If they had send it ground, it would have been delivered the next day. Why don't we deliver it the next day? What if Customer B wanted it delivered on a specific day as a birthday present, or Customer B won't be around on that given day, etc., etc. Of course, I've sometimes had 2nd day packages delivered the next day, but I've also had them held purposfully.

As for me? I don't want a 2 gb card. Too small!!!!!!!

Just one small question:

If the box is unopened, how is someone going to know if the card is in there or not? :confused:

does anyone know that if flash 10.1 can come on an over the air update or if it is a hardware thing and since this only has flash light it can't be upgraded:confused:

You would have to print out the offer, and then take it there to open it just in case it's not in there. if you open it and it's there, you leave happy? If you open it and it's not there, they give you one and you leave happy? That would mean WAITING to open your phone though... FFFFFF THAT! 16GB Class 6 is on the way, I will gladly place the 2gb card on the sidewalk outside and melt it with a magnifying glass.
 
I visited my local VZ "Premium Retailer" today. Sketchy place. I've only been in there a half dozen times and I've never seen the same employee twice. Today there was only one CSR and he was talking to a customer while on the phone. He did ask me if he could help me but I replied that I was just looking. What I was thinking was more along the lines of: You're going to try to answer any questions that I have while helping the guy sitting in front of you and talking on the phone?

...Anyhow I peeked at some of the smartphones on display and was surprised that many; the Omnia II, the Imagio, the Devour and others were tagged as having retail prices of over $600. I usually don't pay any attention to the brick and mortar stores as I always get my phones online. Are prices above the VZ website listings the norm? I guess that explains the "premium" tag on the sign outside.

Pre-Ordered mine online on the 19th.

Just received shipping info for 2day FedEx. Arrives on the 28th.

Called Verizon to make sure it was my phone and the Rep confirmed and said some people will get phone a day early.

Asked about 2GB card and she said it was not included. I complained and she said she will send me a complimentary one 2day as well. So I should receive both on the 28th!

Hey All,

I am back! Wife gave birth to a beatiful baby boy Saturday evening at 6:29pm :). Kellen Walker Foley weighed 8lbs 2oz's and was 20 1/4" long. Mom, baby and DAD are all doing wonderful! We are now at home, waiting on my Inc to make it here. Good thing I will be off work all week to greet the FedEx man when my delivery makes it here on Wednesday.

I went to the local Verizon store today and it was NOT a good experience! The guy was clueless (or acted that way) regarding the Incredible! All he could say was that he didn't know much about it but heard that it was made by HTC, so he couldn't recommend it! :confused:

He kept talking up the Moto Droid and was even showing me stuff on his Droid. Didn't know when or if they were gonna get any Incredibles in... He kept saying he didn't know how the Inc could be much better than the Moto Droid...

Needless to say, I'm gonna swing by the BB tomorrow to see what they have to say... I'm getting an Incredible on Thursday, one way or another!

Yeah, I called twice today about the 2GB card. Once before I got the shipping confirmation email.

The first guy I talked to said he would put a note on my account and if I didn't get it to call back and they would send a free one.

Then I got the shipping email and called back.

The lady said she could add a note on my account to ship a free one or just order right then because she knew I wasn't going to receive it.

I said order it now and she did.

I don't even need it though. I have a 8GB in my BB Storm that I will be using.

I just wanted it because it's free and I think I deserve one for ordering on the 19th which was the first day.

Has anyone discovered any shortcuts to getting an invite for Google Voice? I put in a request but have not heard a thing from Google.

If you can...please PM me. I'm one of the 'Old Timers' on this forum and am glad it's only 2 days away from I-DAY.
