OK... after chasing down the Fedex guy... I got my DI!

FIRST rumour killed : its STANDARD microUSB.
SECOND RUMOUR killed :back is semi silcone..grippy kind of feel...NOT PLASTICKY. IMO..

charging it now.
 
So, I called my credit card company and confirmed that I was charged on yesterday (4.26). Then I emailed VZW in regards to not having my shipping info yet. They replied within an hour or so with a tracking number. According to FedEx, it was picked up today in West Chester, PA and scheduled for delivery on the 29th X(

WTF happened to my overnight?!?!?!?!?!?

I talked to a Verizon CSR rep and she sounded slightly clueless but mentioned that essentially the overnight shipping was trumped by the fact that the Incredible's weren't supposed to arrive until the 29th anyway - leading VZW to use standard 2 day shipping since it would deliver on its contracted arrival date.
 
I ordered it last week and just received a USPS tracking number today. My order was marked loading dock for about 3 days prior. If I knew it would take this long I wouldve chose the UPS option since my phone will be here in the morning

same exact deal here i ordered on the 18th and got tracking yesterday. they are kinda slow around there
 
FYI the fade to black case looks nice on my DI and perhaps it is me but is is very slippery in the hand (that's what she said) :D beat you to it.
I also have the all black silicone case and it looks good from the front. Both allow the phone to lay flat regardless of the camera.

Since I did not get the 2GB memory card they were going to ship me one but I asked if I can pick it up at the verizon store and he said sure he will not my account. So I will see if I can make a trade for a car charger.

OBTW the phone is FAST!!!!!!!!!!!

I see. I guess that makes sense. But way too many people are sitting pretty and all charged up.

I tried to get the credit and the csr rep told me no. I said I may refuse shipment and she said if I do that I will get a $35 restocking fee! I tend to attract bee-atches. I will try again later.
 
I called Verizon to order an Inc for me and Moto Droid for my wife and was told I should call back Friday and I could get the Inc free because of the promo they have going. I'll believe it when I see it.
 
Ok guys, I need help with an executive decision. I preordered at BB a few weeks back hoping to get my Inc Thursday morning. After reading all your posts about the BB stocking issues, I call my BB only to be told they dont have the phone in stock yet. Im at my wits end. Like all of you, I want my phone Thursday, should I 1) Order online with overnight delivery? 2) Hope BB gets the Inc in stock tomorrow? or 3) Wait at a VZ store a few hours early Thursday morning? If it helps any, I live in NYC and am paying full price for the phone ( I used my NE2 for the Moto Droid ). Thanks in advance guys!
 
just got mine via fed ex. Just to let you know, it came with a 2 GB card in the package. I preordered mine aat 12:30 Am on the 19th.

its been shipped if it says that you shipment should arrive in 2-3 days...you should get a tracking number soon..

i preordered mine the 22 and it just now changed to ... your order is being processed check back tomorrow


Not so mine said that since sunday afternoon and was just shiped today
and is still in TN :mad:
 
just called my local fedex express and they are gonna hold my package for me and i will be able to pick it up in the morning at 9:00am :)
 
I know there is a specific thread for Covers. And I know I may be a little nit-picky here, but I just got the gradient case sent to me (no phone yet) and I noticed that it doesn't completely "snap" all the way around. The connection on the bottom right (left if you are looking at it from the front of the phone) seems to just sit there and not snap on.

TRUST ME, I know this may be my stir-craziness waiting for my phone, but I was wondering if anyone else noticed this, OR more importantly, if it corrected itself with the phone in it.

Need to know if I should send it back or not..

I tried. I was told due to a contract with Verizon they couldn't hold it until it was undeliverable at least once.
 
So, this $30.00 credit, what do you do? Call Verizon and threaten them to break contract?...lol

My phone is already on the way.

I wouldn't mind paying only $69.99 for this phone. :)
 
I am INCREDIBLY mad with Verizon right now. I've never been this furious with customer service in my life. Read on if you're curious.

I heard about the SMART30 promo code today, and read about how some people were about to get the discount applied to their already placed order. I figured I would go ahead and do the same.

I called *611, and explained the situation to the CSR. She told me that I could get my problem resolved by the internet service team (8663387390).

I called the internet service team, and reexplained the situation. The CSR said that she had been handling calls about the SMART30 promo all day and that she would gladly give me the discount if I could provide the credit card used to complete the original transaction. I didn't have it on me, so I asked if I could call back later. She said that she took a screenshot of the file (my account? I'm not sure what it was) and placed it into my account-- she ensured me that the next time I called with the card number, I would get my discount.

A couple hours later (just now), I called again, and reexplained my previous call. This CSR said that there was a recent decision (at 4:30pm or something) about the promo code. I couldn't get the discount because I didn't place the order when the promo was up. She said that the promo was an error and was not supposed to have been up until the 1st. I explained that the other CSR said I would get my discount when I came back with my card, and she got the supervisor on the line.

He said the exact same thing. Apparently, everyone who called in today to get the SMART30 discount WILL NOT get the discount if they didn't place their preorder between sometime the day before yesterday and yesterday (even if you called in before 4:30pm).

After some one-sided words (he kept shutting down anything I had to say with "the "treasury" handles all discount requests"), I gave up.

I was speechless, mad, and frustrated. I simply said "okay, thank you, bye" and hung up because I couldn't think of anything else to say.

So yeah. For everyone who got their discount, I don't think you'll be getting them anymore.

I hate Verizon. All they do is cheat us. :(

Why should the pre-order people get shafted out of 30 bucks that the people who buy on the 1st day get to save? Because we're eager to get their new phone as quickly as possible? Because we followed the news and got too psyched for it?

What do you guys think? Should I call back? What do I do?
 
I'm wondering what will happen if I backed up my Sprint Hero using MyBackup Pro and using that file to restore all my apps, data, and settings on the Incredible?
