I think it's an automated email reply. I've gotten the same email back within a minute or two of sending.
I'm just going to upgrade to iPhone5 whenever it is released. I am sick of this crap.

Thanks for sharing this -- interesting. But if you look farther down in that thread, you'll see other rays of hope... nearly one year old.It probably ain't happening.
What's not happening? This references the European Galaxy S getting Gingerbread soon, and apparently they are as we speak ..

so would VZW just skip 2.2 all together and jump ahead to 2.3? I know I'm kinda late to the discussion, but it seems really shaddy of VZW to give us a phone thats never going to see a firmware update, I mean even my original Droid is running 2.3
