OTA Update Starting today?

YES!!!!! Youtube is fixed on the main page with the default content, YAY!!!!

Yup new lock screen... yay

Animations on switching screens is the same, but I NEVER had a jerky screen... I'll let the rest of you all figure everything else out :) Seems good so far!
 
Updated....seems quick so far. First thing I tried was the camera and seems alot quicker, I don't know about quality though.

The Update is available to all manually and the droid is now rooted!

Your first question can best be answered by checking out some of the threads around here on rooting. I'm not the best one to ask, but I have a couple of things in mind that I want to do and can't right now.




Since the update, my phone vibrates VERY strong when I am unlocking my phone. Is there a setting somewhere to shut that vibrate off?
 
So if I update now, what happens when Verizon/Google push the regularly scheduled update to my phone. Will it update again with the same version, recognize 2.0.1 is already installed and do nothing, etc?

It'll either skip you or you just do the update again. no big deal.
 
So i got my 2.01 update this morning. In class i was on this website and noticed it lagged a lot when scrolling. Does everyone experience this.

Also one bug ive found with 2.01 is on the home screen if i slid open my keyboard everything disappeared, Apps, Widgits, Etc, i had to reboot to bring everything back to my home-screen....


Anyone have questions about the new o.s let me know
 
apparently you didn't notice the 15 other thread on the top about updates :(

getting the update is old news now everyone can install it.
