Crap! LOL Yes it's good news, but I was hoping somewhere in the back of my mind that maybe we would be forced to wait and then more information would be out on HTC 5"'er by then so I can choose which one is best for me. Probably a non-factor anyway, send HTC is on there downward spiral with no removable batteries.

At any rate, I had already taken off work Friday the 26th, and Monday the 29th for this, hoping it would be out but knowing I could move my days off if need be.

So now I'll just be forced to buy the best friggin phone on the market, and get to play the whole weekend! Wooohooooo!

I think, unless I want to wait for the 32 gig.. lol

That weekend is my birthday weekend, so I really hope Best Buy is allowed to sell on the 25th too. It'd be perfect timing, since I'm taking vacation days and heading to a concert Saturday, Vegas Sunday-Tuesday! Having the Note 2 with me in Vegas, to take pics and vids of my 1.2 year old niece would be amazing! Worse case scenario, I hope it's at least available for sale on Sunday, through Best Buy.

Well, that's disappointing, but not a deal breaker at all. I'm just crossing my fingers the $299 price tag comes along with the 32gb internal storage version. At that point, I won't mind at all that this phone is $100 more than other superphones...LOL...not that I would mind anyway.
 
I've been on cloud 10 since the announcement this morning! I can wait til next Thursday no pre order for me. The 16 gig will do, I'll adjust to it like everything else in life.

I'm pitching a tent day before...maybe bring some friends. If they can do it for iPhone I can do it for Note 2!!!! :D

For those that don't know I'm kidding ... hell no I'm not sleeping on the curb.....I have a car for that! :D :p :D
 
With Sprint only announcing one price, i think it's a safe bet to assume they'll be offering the 32gb version. There's no way they could justify the price tag for 16gb, and if they decide to carry the 32 later on they would have to charge more, and nobody is going to pay 350 on contract for a phone.
 
you know, I do wish you are right. Considering that they haven't mentioned any version in that release, I wouldn't pass it by Sprint that they do a major surprise. For now I'll just keep thinking its for the 16GB version, this way I won't be disappointed. If it end us being the 32GB version, then it will be like X-Mas early. lol

I want this phone. Bad. My Evo is on it's last leg. But I'm going to wait as long as possible. If Verizon has some sort of Holiday deals, either on the phone or service plans, I'm dropping Sprint. Tired of waiting for LTE when everybody around me is able to access it. Been a Sprint subscriber since '99, but after they got rid of the yearly upgrades, there really isn't any loyalty from me left.

The $300 price is for the 16gb version.
 
Why is everyone so surprised by the price tag? It's a 5.5" quad-core phone with an s-pen. It's going to cost more than $199.
