Nice...now it's just a matter of knowing which versions will be available, as far as memory is concerned (e.g. 16/32/64). Hopefully, all (even though I'd go for the 64).

There is only 1 version 16GB.

Added: drex did you just ninja yourself..lol

Yeah...hahaha. I was just so excited to get official word from Sprint, that I failed to read the entire press release. At least I know that 1 of my top 2 choices are available. I am slightly disappointed that they're not going to have the bigger memory versions.

Especially if apps can't be moved to the memory card. Could pose a problem for some.

For apps, it really depends on how the 16gb is partitioned. Assuming it's similar to the LTEvo and SGS3, the 3gb or so (out of the 16) that's partitioned and available for apps only should be more than enough for me (I haven't moved apps to the SD since I started having issues with that on my Photon).

For me, it's all about being able to download hard media files, rather than streaming. Mostly for work, but a good portion for my own personal needs. Streaming is just not the best option for me, even though many people prefer that nowadays.

I also use Flixster for movies that I've purchased and include a digital file. The Flixster app only allows the downloaded file to be read from the Internal Storage and can't be placed on the microSD (and still be identified when trying to play offline).

Anybody know, is the Note 2's stock browser that works with the S-Pen hovering google chrome or samsung's own proprietary browser?

Also, for those that have used chrome for Android (I still haven't, since the Photon is stuck on gingerbread), do you know if it will import your bookmarks and folders connected to your google account?

I didn't read the link. "Only" 16GB. Is there any mention of 32GB later on? It would kind of suck if people got this thinking that's all there was going to be only for a higher capacity to come out 2 months later.

There are contradicting articles. Some say only 1 version 16GB, while others say 16GB, 32GB, & 64 GB storage. Very confused right now??

Links : Talking about internal storage only here

http://www.gottabemobile.com/2012/0...for-u-s-with-4g-support-quad-core-exynos-cpu/ says 3 versions..16,32, & 64

http://phandroid.com/2012/09/19/ver...ellular-announce-plans-to-sell-galaxy-note-2/ says 1 version 16.

More likely to believe the 2nd link as it is the official press release.

Funny...this is how I felt when I saw the full retail price of $800.00.

How did you find out about the retail price? That's steep, but I sold my GS3 and my Asus tablet for this phone and I would still have to put a little money with it. Geez!

Thats the retail price quoted from US Cellular, usually they are all around the same but personally I am hoping for 749.99 so my square trade will cover the exact amount

So the press release contradicts this image on their site. Oh boy....

Samsung's press release is separate and apart from what each provider will offer.

From my recollection, the SGS 3 (when first announced) was supposed to be available in 16/32/64, but the 64 never came out. There were rumors of a black version of the SGS 3 being released that would be the 64gb version, but that still hasn't shown up yet. Sprint ended up offering the 16gb version (through sprint and all 3rd party sprint retailers), but the 32gb version was exclusive to Sprint.

I wouldn't mind the same thing happening, as long as both the 16 and 32 are offered everywhere (not just exclusively through Sprint). My main option to purchase is Best Buy because I have a $50 "upgrade" credit, under their phone freedom program, that I can use. On top of that, I have Reward certificates that I'd like to use as well.
