Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Trying to watch a video in my phone's browser, in full screen is near enough impossible -_- that fullscreen button appears for a quarter of a second after playing the video, and if I try to tap quicker it just zooms in :(

*sigh* Just left from a bad day at work. That place is starting to make me miserable with the piss poor management and ridiculous policy changes.

Apparently, several other people feel the same way. That's why they are leaving. I think I'll start filling out some applications tonight.

Put your browser in desktop mode and it will revert to the pages how you like them.

I don't suppose you know where that setting can be found on Boat? It's not in settings/browser settings, nor is it in settings/page content settings, or settings/labs. Am i blind? Or maybe just a little thick today?

Hi pal,
I am also finds it difficult during my work that whatever you do for your company but the older member than you are eligible for promotions not you.......

Well, seniority doesn't mean a thing at my company. And unless you're pursuing a management type position, there's no place for advancement. I've been there for almost 4 years and going nowhere.

I work in a niche so small that I have been the 'new guy' for six years, and likely won't lose that title until one of my coworkers dies. Nearly all of them are the same age I am.

The only promotional prospect I have involves an airplane falling on my supervisor.

It's a damn good thing I love what I do...

I hate finding a pair of shoes online and knowing they'd be perfect for my Halloween costume but there's no way I can get them for tomorrow. :(

Amazon.com raises free shipping minimum to $35: Associated Press - MSN Money

Boo! Hiss!

NEW YORK (AP) - Amazon.com customers will need to spend more money on
the site in order to qualify for free shipping.
The online retailer raised the minimum order size needed for free shipping to $35
from $25. The change, made Monday, comes ahead of the busy holiday
shopping season. It also comes after Walmart.com made a similar change
earlier this month.

Eh, probably inevitable, but I still don't have to be happy about it lol.

I like the feature of Prime where I am a beneficiary of my mother's account. She pays, authorized my account and I get the shipping benefits. I don't get the video or monthly free kindle book though.

The new HP chromebook 14 is now cheaper than the new HP chromebook 11. That's annoying. I should have waited so I can get a powerful computer for cheaper

The only problem is, if you go by that theory, you'll be forever waiting until the next device comes out. :P

However, it does annoy me as well. As soon as I've bought something it seems as though something cheaper yet better is available all of a sudden.

I'm happy with the 11in screen. Inge been wanting something very light and the chromebook it lighter than my note.
