Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Just in case one of your CDs is no longer readable ..

I use the 'free' version of this which I think would do the trick. It reads lots of formats (including WMA) and allows you to specify the output format.

I use it to reduce the bitrate on podcasts, but you could use it to just convert. I generally process around 0.5GB each week and it takes maybe 15-20 minutes - I would guess that if you keep the same bitrate, it might even be quicker.
 
What really grinds my gears is getting all the way to work just to find out you left your ID badge at home and can't get into the job , like what happened to me this mornen :banghead:
 
Whatever. In the local news yesterday, a 4 yr old escaped from her house as her dad who was caring for her fell asleep. She was found on a busy street about a block away.
That's not even babysitting.

Yeah , why get credit for something your supposed to do ...... atleast that's what my mom always told me when i asked for a allowance for cleaning my room and stuff :rolleyes:

That also speaks to how said mother views the father.;)

I don't mind at all that I have as much or more time raising my son as my wife. We both work towards the best for our son.:)

I hope she was OK. That's so scary. He was not being very responsible at all.
 
When you see those idiots with the lowered trucks and they look super shitty but think they are faster than anyone yet all they did was change the exhaust on that truck/automobile
 
Having to stop in the middle of a job, and losing the rest of the day.

Now, instead of studying for a test tomorrow, I will have to finish working on the van.

Faster in a straight line. I'll put my 4wD Toyota sport truck up against them on a back road any time. Same as those of us with British sports cars that were driven more like motorcycles used to take on Detroit Iron. The big engine heavy cars couldn't corner.
 
Not enjoying this new AF layout on my phone. Can't choose to go to the last post of a thread. Can't click on lounge to go back there after looking at a thread. The only thing I find good about it is the fact pages load faster, presumably because there are fewer ads. Is there any way I can go back to viewing the whole page as I used to?

Put your browser in desktop mode and it will revert to the pages how you like them.
