Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

There are no parachutes under the F/A-18s speed brake. I could generate a list, but I don't know if I could handle watching it all again...

I know, it was harrowing, but Will Smith kicked alien butt so it all works out.

People are falling apart over how great Gravity is - and the list for that is no shorter.

I've put salt on desserts before I quit eating them. My mother made a batch of German applesauce that was too sweet, and she salted it. That's where I got the idea. If something was too sweet, out came the salt shaker. I've put salt on pie, that applesauce, and ice cream. I finally realized I didn't care for the sweet taste and quit eating dessert.

With a sandwich - Bagel and Pita crisps are pretty good.

Since the kids left, there have been no forms of dessert in the house except the cookies the Vulcan has squirreled away. His favorite now is homemade corn bread with Nutella on it.

Don't you have an organic market where you live? Sometimes they will carry produce that other stores consider out of season. Maybe they would have sweet potatoes or yams.

BTW - sweet potato is an old nickname for an ocarina.

I have done the salt thing on some stuff. I use to love sweet stuff but I don't eat that much anymore just occasionally. My son loves it tho. Yes we have an organic store in my area I have yet to go in it BC I get busy and its a little out of my way but I need to check it out.

What really grinds my gears is everytime we have a Big project at work, my boss is either off that day or just dissapears and then when we finish she comes in asking us if we need any help :banghead:

They teach that in the capstone course for your MBA;):p

Fair enough, goodbye free speech and all that. I love the word "cleaned" as though there was something dirty.

Here's a copy of the site rules you agreed to when you signed up.

http://androidforums.com/introductions/704-site-rules-guidelines.html

Follow the link to the part that says when a mod closes a topic in public, that's the end of it.

You don't get to yell fire in a crowded theater, your free speech ends where the other guy's nose begins.

And in our house, which is the online equivalent of a crowded theater, you don't get to act all high and mighty and tear anyone down for their race, creed, color or anything like that.

You have anything else to say, drop me a line and drop the attitude while you're at it.

And cleaning was a very appropriate term.

Aliens invade Earth.

Earth kicks butt from here to Tuesday.

Aliens die or leave.

Set your Interocitors to fun, I've been watching and rewatching this theme for decades and I love every one of these movies.

I don't care how bad they are.

And if you have an Interocitor then you know that often, the worse they are, the better they are.

What's next?

That Godzilla is not real?

Because, yeah, he is!

One big reason I could never become a vegetarian (despite the fact that for a very long time I did not eat very much meat), is that they have no satisfactory substitute for bacon.

At least the Kosher folks have pastrami which, when fried up, very much resembles bacon in texture and savour.

I hate fakin bacon as well...yuck!!! Baco's (spelling?) is as close as I have come to something that mildly resembles bacon..it's not so bad on baked potatoes etc....I can barely tell the difference:rolleyes:

.also surprisingly bacon salt has no bacon in it!!!

Godzilla was a daddy in the old Japanese series, turned mommy in the new remake.

Know why no one complained?

Because Godzilla, that's why!

You're welcome!

Sonic has a bacon peanut butter shake that is delicious. And I enjoyed Burger King's bacon sundae when it was out too.

Tried Morningstar Farms? Isn't that bad for veggie bacon. I like it since it isn't greasy.

I hate it when I break an app. :o
