Thank you!!! Like I said I can use someone else's computer if we are not completely sure. I just would hate to mess up my phone just because there is a slight difference with linux.

well you need to take it step by step. just follow the guide.

to get to hboot, power the phone off(make sure to have fastboot disabled, settings>apps>uncheck fastboot). then press and hold power+vol down.

which part of the guide are you having difficulties? at what step?
 
Ok..I went to the forum...Themikmik.com, And I downloaded everything the android flasher and all. when I open the app up to check where to find the files.. that when I got lost.. also I disabled the fastroot on my phone by unchecking it and then go to the recovery mode and go to fastboot usb(The usb was already plugged in).. I tried couple methods by looking for the root,recovery and wimax (And what ever files needed)..I clicked on flashed and it told me (failed...Remote not access or allowed). and couple other failed aswell which I want to solve. I did what the tutoral on the website said and I know I am screwing it up somewhere. This sucks big time. Captthrowback told me that there something that I need to do in order to get it off the screen.. he/she told me to come here and ask for H.E.L.P o.0 so I am asking.

Can you post what is says in your bootloader screen? It will give us more info as a base starting point.:)
To get into bootloader screen, make sure fastboot is unchecked
menu/setting/applications uncheck the box next to fastboot.
Power off phone. wait a couple seconds, and while holding the volume down button, push power to boot up phone...then you will see the bootloader screen.
 
Right now, im on Step 3: Flash the su file or flash a rom.
What is the difference between staying on stock and flashing a rom?

Right now im stumped though. I decided to use the superwipe. Im on step 7 which is to find the superwipe file and select it? Which one is it?
I selected META-INF on my phone and now it is asking for either ../ or com/

you extracted the file. leave it zipped up. never extract a file unless told to do so. just move the zipped file over to the card and then in recovery find it and flash it.

weird your like the 3rd person who has had this issue. give it a few minutes it should pop up. if not check your app drawer. somebody only found it in settings>apps on the phone.

Where exactly are you at?
what are you trying to flash?
 
My htc evo 4g.. I got and it's got the locked oow on the screen..I want to use a different service provider instead of sprint or verizon. I can't do it since it got that watermark on my phone and the S-on

If your bootloader says locked at the moment, the Capt method will not work.
You may have done this already, but can you post your bootloader screen?
 
I did everything..Not working even if I try to post it wouldn't help.. What methods do I need in order to take the watermark off and s-off.

When you bootloader is locked, it needs to be unlocked, then the capt method will downgrade the hboot, remove watermark, then fully root using Unrevoked or Revolutionary.
If it is locked, you need to start at the first steps of the guide to unlock it.
This whole procedure depends on what your hboot screen says...it has alot of info in it that can better help you/us in rooting the phone.
Do you know how to get to your bootloader screen?

we need the info on your phone's bootloader.

power off (make sure that fastboot is disabled, settings>apps>uncheck fastboot) then press and hold power+vol down. report back what you see and we can take it from there.

o.k..good, you just need to go to the beginning of this guide, and use the htcdev method to unlock your bootloader first.
The instructions are there, read carefully, and read carefully (I know, I said that twice), and ask if unclear about anything.
That's your issue, your bootloader is locked, s-on.
