Root [Rom][5-26-12]Broken Out Spectrum 3.0 w/ Blitzkrieg Kernel

Hey guys, I need someone from broken out using the included kernel to do this
Code: 
adb shell
su
cat /proc/config.gz > /sdcard/config.gz
exit
adb pull /sdcard/config.gz > %USERPROFILE%/Desktop/config.gz
Then upload that file to dropbox or mediafire or something and link me

Has anyone else seen this, or is it just me (caused by some app I've installed):

When I first installed Broken Out (on BOTH my Revo and Spectrum), when the screen turns off, it does the old-school TV effect. This lasts about a day, then it goes to just turning off (with no TV effect).

Been running B.O. since it was released and the effect is still there

The TV EFFECT - as it has been called, is controlled by the SETTINGS>>DISPLAY>>ANIMATIONS function.

If you have ALL ANIMATIONS set - (AS BO comes stock) then you will get the TV EFFECT upon "power down" -

If you set animations to none - then it goes away.

Took me a while to figure it out...but there you have it.:rock:
 
Makes sense. Someone at Verizon was a bit snippy with me about asking about the ICS update, and that they already said we would be getting it (basically telling me to shut up about it already) so I had to reply with "When, 2016?" No reply. I suppose sarcasm isn't the best way to ask that question...

I feel your pain. When I called about getting my device swapped out I got a rep that was somewhat nice about it. He said that he does see an update coming but they haven't given any dates in the system. This was a couple week ago though. Only took me 3 reps to be able to get my device swapped out. Since it was swapped though it seems to not reboot anymore.
 
im having problems getting this to work. i installed the root and recovery AIO. then wiped my phone then installed the broken out rom. but when it reboots its just goes back to CWM touch. any ideas why this is happening?

no enough info for me to know why this is happening to you but I would recommend reflashing broken out.
 
Dudes and dudettes , this may sound crazy. But when I restore apps and data, on eclipse or broken out . I have absolutely no random reboots. So that info is correct, but strange.

and you are sure you are going back to the touch cwm that you flashed from the AIO?

It doesnt make any sense that it's not working. Maybe you got a bad download of broken out. Try to redownload it

1. Plug the usb into your phone.
2. Plug the usb into your computer.
3. When the phone shows the usb icon, swipe down,click the usb notification and click 'mass storage'. (it will already be selected)

It may take a few seconds for the pc to show the phone under My Computer.

Not sure why, but the phone doesn't send a signal to the pc unless you click mass storage.
