Root [ROM][ACS] GB UNleashed 2point3 [GBU-3/20/11] " KING STYLE "

Okay so I love this ROM, it is my new favorite. Now for some reason it keeps having the car home icon coming up in the notifications bar saying it is on even though I deleted the app. Is anyone else having this problem? I have been running it for almost two weeks I think and this just started happening about a day and a half ago.

How is the 4G connectivity? It was just fixed in CM7 N35, so it wouldn't be somehow fixed in this ROM as well since it's based on an earlier CM7 build right?

Also, with CM7 I am running Tiamat instead of SavagedZen and am not having any wake lock issues. Why is SZ so much more popular? I feel like I'm missing the boat.

Wimax connects in a little less than 10 sec. for me, everytime. As far as which kernel you're running, stick w/ what works best for your Evo. I'm running Savagedzen 1.0.1 cfs w/o issue or wake locks, but I've read others who are experiencing wake locks and issues, while using it. If you ever do get around to trying Kings GB, try both Tiamat and Savagedzen kernels and see which one your phone likes best.
 
I first froze it in TB but that didn't do anything so I deleted it in Root Explorer, I just flashed MIUI and it is doing the same thing. I need to find a gapps.zip that doesn't have it built in. For now though back to Kings R3 or maybe try out Plutonium.
 
Well..cm7 is a work in progress. When king released this cm7 didn't have an official version with everything working. I have also found his roms to run a bit smoother and snappier

Oic....So once CM7 is complete, it'll be the sh*t then I'm assuming?
 
I have tried CM7 before and I prefer King's right now. Once a fully finished/stable version of CM7 comes out I will probably try it out. I think I fixed the problem I had with car home but I might not have, will have to see if it keeps doing it tomorrow.
 
That rom and my evo don't get along. I start getting random reboots and my screen freeze and then when I was going to new application my screen just goes blank I have to go back into it about 3 or 4 *... never could get the voicemail working. Then my contact started actin funny everytime I hit people or contacts it would go to a blank screen. Think I should stick with more sense based Roms being that I'm such a newb. I wonder when sence will have 2.3

All set in CM settings and not using Setcpu

Got only one random reboot that I know of early this morning about 4:30 am based on the wake time. Not sure if there were any before that though.
 
This ROM worked great for me with the exception of the GPS. I did the fix (numerous times). When I flashed back to this ROM, I started GPS Test and it would only update every 15-20 seconds, same for google Maps. But when I started Google Navigation, the updates were every second. GPS Test and Maps would update this frequently as well if Nav was running. As soon as Nav was shut down, those programs would go back to their 15-20 second updates.

Is this normal?
 
my favorite ROM yet.. very complete once you get everything working.. i recommend trying out wiimote w/ full HDMI if you haven't already, pretty amazing stuff.. as for a kernel SavagedZen 1.0.1 seems to work the best..

i've actually run this ROM for seven straight days now.. might be a new record for me

anyone have any links to themes that work w/ this ROM?
 
I was getting camera fc 's on this earlier. Odd.

I think kings is probably quicker and a little more snappy than CM7 but I think its close. I have had zero issues with CM7 though. I also got a flashable theme for CM7 that makes it look better than kings to boot (IMHO of course)
 
I've been going from rom to rom lately but have found the acs roms are far superior to others. And until the evo gets gingerbread this is my rom. I used LP so long ago its nice to change it up from sense. Everything I use works and will now be testing battery
