Root [ROM][ALPHA] Triumph CM9 v0.6.17.0 [FINAL]

So, when it says USB tethering doesn't work, does that mean I can't transfer files between my PC and phone using a cable?

Sorry about that. I think part of the link got cut off. It should be fixed now.

i have a question before the 6.15.0 update scrolling through each screen was smooth why is it not smooth anymore? i try cm9 on bros optimus v and its really smooth so im guessing its something to do with our phone not cm9?

I might go back to stock for a while as I'm having issues with loosing the cell signal with most of the CM9 builds. Never had that problem on stock or cm7.

Hate the thought of going back to stock for a few days but tired of having to reboot the phone to regain cell signal. Too many calls missed lately.

Been on CM9 since late January and love the rom.

It's possible your phone is not waking fast enough before you try scrolling. Try a different governor.

Or it could be your apps are running in the background and slowing you down. Try a clean flash, reboot a few times, then see how the from acts before you start putting your apps back on.

Thank you :)

What governer do you use?

Alpha 0.6.16.0 for triumph makes the phone over heat. There is no tethering, but wireless tethering works fine. Please fix these problems. Thank You

I'm confident that mantera will get right on it to make sure that you are 100% satisfied. Maybe if you included a deadline, that would make your post even better. Gosh Mantera how can stand it? I really admire your patience.

I'm not being rude or disrespectful ,but the HD2 have a fully working ICS ROM ,everything works including the camera. :) Thanks again

lol....its not as easy to get camera working without the sources from motorola...since u think its so easy...why don't u try getting the camera work? we have a lot of wonderful devs working on the camera as of now. the devs are trying their very best to make a full functional rom. right now they're focusing on gb roms to get HDMI working. is not easy to get camera working...

If you're tethering, your phone will get hot. For many people's, the mt gets hot when multiple radios are on.

I am expecting the phone the way it is ,and I'm happy with cm-7.2.0-rc1-g60style Rom because it makes the phone more enjoyable. I brought the EVO V 4G from Virgin Mobile ,and I'm in love with both phones. :) Thanks again

So now I have no MT's left to test with and so this may be the last build from me.
I still have my MT if you want it.Or if you want to send me builds to test and see if they work I can do that.I really want to keep CM9 alive on the MT cause it's not really a bad phone. So mantera drop me a line.

X2 there. This is also not strict to just one phone either. Its been a flaw in design for awhile. I've had the intercept that would get hot as it tethered and my ex room mate had a T-Mobile MyTouch 3G phone that again would get hot when tethering. Treysmith, it's not a problem with CM9. ;)

Does anyone have a problem since putting 6.16 on where the sound will be nice and loud then for no reason it will be extremely low... and I mean ringtones and whatnot, or is it just me?

I'm testing my ring tones right now and not having any problem. Tried with and without the headset.

To add real quick if its happening as you plug in a headset its because of a setting. Under sound you'll find "Safe headset volume". If checked it will lower your volume when you plug in a headset while listening to sound to help keep the sound blaring loudly into your ears initially. So you have to manually crank the volume back up or uncheck it and just make sure your music isn't too loud at first.

I don't have that checked... and I don't have a headset. When I first turn on my phone the notification/ ringtone volume and all other sounds are loud enough to hear... but like 10 - 30 minutes later I could get a text or call and can't hear it and all volumes have dropped to a crazy low volume. I don't play music nor use a headset or anything else I can think of that involves sounds... no settings changed in DSPManager :( maybe a reflashing is in order.
