Root [ROM][ALPHA] Triumph CM9 v0.6.17.0 [FINAL]

This might be coming out of left field but when running cm9 does anyone's phone get hot? I know that when I've installed it, a couple of times, it will physically get hot in or out of my pocket
 
When playing music, if my phones screen is off, if I hit the power button to wake it up the lock screen shows the music playing for a brief second then disappears. I know on my friends Samsung vibrant his music controls show up on the lock screen (he's running an ICS rom on his as well). I'm using the Apex launcher just so you know.
 
it seems everythings working good on the latest build it seems better than the older visions I just want the camera:) and when clicking on the apps there still some sort of lagg to load them.

but yes finally I wanted to battery level to show in numbers>.<

if you have sync enabled and/or data, it will keep downloading data, and producing heat. What i do is toggle mobile data, and never turn on sync. I like to check facebook and email notifications manually.
 
just a quick note this may have been stated before but, when you miss a call voicemail notification does not remove itself from the notes after checking. (AKA the icon is still in the drop down bar. ) its not really a problem for me but i wnated to make a note oof it to the devs so they can correct it. and as always thank you for the hard work on this rom.

Mine goes away just fine.

Thank you for your response. There is an app from Market that can tweak the minfree settings. I won't mind using that in the meantime. Once the camera is working I will be installing this! SO excited! This is progressing faster than I ever imagined! :D

I use system tuner pro for everything from CPU speed/gov/voltage, mem free, SD cache/scheduler... Everything. It has the option of setting these after boot complete, or by init.d script. That's how I noticed it wasn't working.

Don't know what to say about that. I can see the clock speeds changing, but I guess that doesn't mean they really are. Graph looks like they are, according to settings and gov selected.

I second that and I can feel my phone get warmer when set to 2000+. It not the battery either...maybe the microprocessor

Mine works fine also. As a matter of fact, right after I read this post I received a call and let it go to voice mail(it was work wanting me to come in for an extra shift so I didn't answer it). I went to the call list and the missed call disappeared. Then I listened to the voice mail and that icon disappeared. So, no problem here.
 
I did just notice a bug though when backing out of this app. The long-press kill isn't working on the back button anymore. Anyone else have this bug or is it just me? It worked for me just fine with the 0.6.4 build.

This is an occasional bug even with stock. It also happened once to me on Optimus V. I have tried leaving myself another voicemail and then deleting it. Seems to clear the icon on that attempt.

Also, question about overclocking. This has an overclockable kernel? If so, have we verified overclocking isn't actuallly working? That's what I gather from a few posts here and was wondering if there as more info on this.

Dumb question, but I guess you made sure it is enabled?

I tried it for a bit, was happy with it, but it only works for a bit then crashes when I try to open it from there on out.

I could also only get it to install by manually moving it to /system/app. Anyway else it wouldn't work.

This what I did.
1.Backed up the system Music.apk
2.Uninstall it
3.Reboot
4.Install the new CM9.apk
5.There you go.
