Root [ROM][ALPHA] Triumph CM9 v0.6.17.0 [FINAL]

EDIT: Alright so I did that, and now when I try to open it all I get is an error message saying "unfortunately, music has stopped"

Did I do something wrong? I removed the old music apk and put in this one.. should I have left them together?

i was getting this problem. it was quite frustrating. then i went
settings>>apps>>all>>music>>clear data
and restarted the app.

i had moved my music around and it was looking for the files in the wrong place. maybe you have a more complicated issue but it's worth a shot imho.

it might be nice to have a fix that clears data automatically on crashes. but, we are alpha testers after all.

EDIT: So, upon that not working, although I will keep it in mind for future crashes, thanks, I moved the apk file back to my sd card and then went into astro file manager and hit install. This time it allowed the installation to happen and it opens. :D
 
Anyone have luck undervolting the triumph using this rom? I am trying incredicontrol, but cannot get the voltage settings to stick. Wondering if this is the rom or the app. Thx.

Ooops. Nevermind. I was starting the app too early after the startup. It was storing the old values because it had not set the new values yet. In any case, it seems to be working.

I don't think init.d scripting is working in this ROM yet, and I assume that's how incredicontrol works.

Could be wrong on both accounts, but I haven't seen it in a changelog yet.

init.d support has always been there; that's why it hasn't been mentioned in a changelog.

-Updated kernel to 2.6.32.21 - now shows correct version in About Phone.
-Notable changes from upstream:
- New CM9 boot animation
- Set Root access in System settings --> Developer options --> Root access
- Profiles
- possible support for Netflix, video decoding (need testing)

LQ YouTube now works, which is better than before, but Netflix still won't play
 
thanks for all you great work im testing all your ROMs and did you try use HD2 ICS drivers camera? they are too similar but i dont know how to do it by myself =(

No, I didn't. Most people were saying they preferred it without and also most of the downloads were of the non-btwlancoex version (although that could just be because it was the build listed on top...)

I suppose I could do a build with it enabled for anyone that wants it. It's just a quick switch and not much trouble.

Anyone have a chance to try playing movies from the sdcard yet in a player?
 
I use MX player and I was able to play an avi,mp4 and mkv file on this rom without any issue.

DLNA streaming with bubble upnp seems to work fine as well.
