Root [ROM][ALPHA] Triumph CM9 v0.6.17.0 [FINAL]

Just the newer ones, I was able to flash the earliest ROM available in this thread. Odd.

EDIT: After installing the base ROM, I was now able to flash the latest. Success! Thanks a ton for the help Twizted!

No problem man I figured we would get it one way or another I wasn't quitting till we got it flashed for you

Thanks for the post.
I know it's bad, but at least it ain't just me, you know?:D

I don't use incredicontrol, but I think it uses init.d scripts.

I use System Tuner Pro for clock speed, gov, Mem, voltage, I/O... everything. It can set these via init.d (best) or just "on boot"... don't know really how that works, but the settings are reinstated using this method.

Thanks. Trying system tuner pro now. It is good that it provides another option than init.d. I am able to change the voltage now.

BTW, incredicontrol does use init.d. The author recommends that conflicting entries in that file be deleted.

Just be careful when scrolling the voltage table screen. If you haven't noticed, it's too easy to inadvertently change an individual speed's voltage. Talked to the dev and he's looking into tweaking the ui for that screen.
Anyway, sounds like Mantra has it fixed for the next release so you can switch back to init.d or incredicontrol if you want. :D

Thank you to everyone who has worked on this rom. I use it daily now and it really is fantastic.

My last charge with this rom lasted me 4 days 11 hours (90-30%)

Thanks for the report on Google Earth. Probably all of those video fixes fixed it too.

For your signal issue, I haven't noticed any difference between this and other roms. Check your numerical signal value and not the bars. The bars may look different between roms based on how it's coded to show but the numbers should not be that different. Menu --> System Settings --> About Phone --> Status

Well, the problem is the strength of my signal when I've got one. The problem is that it seems to often loose it when it shouldn't. Happens several times a day. I'll look at my phone and have no signal.

I took a look at some of the settings and turned on all the roaming settings hopping that will help (Home Only to Automatic, checkboxes ticked, ect.). We'll see.

How the hell? I find this hard to believe, especially since you didn't post any pictures. Unless you turned off ALL radios, put the brightness down to the very lowest, underclocked and undervolted, and kept the phone in sleep for 4 days and 10 hours, there's NO way you got that much charge! (*hoping I'm wrong*)

Yes, I did notice. I ended up scrolling on the far right side of the screen to avoid that. The first couple of times I had to restore the defaults and start over b/c I didn't know what the original setting was after accidentally changing the voltage.

I wasn't able to set voltages below 750 even though I have heard people with MTs setting them as low as 600 at lower frequencies. Phone would also reboot on voltages higher than expected. I was able to set lower voltages on incredicontrol. Of course, this was probably because it didn't actually make any setting changes at all. When the init.do is back online, I will be able to check to see if it would be possible to set lower voltages using incredicontrol.

I've been using this rom for a while, and I know it's in alpha but I haven't seen anybody mention these problems yet. I cleared data, factory restored and flashed to alpha 0.6.9.4.

Sometimes when I go to a no signal area, and go back into an area with signal, my phone stays on R and it'll say digital roam on the lock screen. It doesn't seem to lock back onto a signal after. Airplane mode one/off works to get my phone to acquire a signal, but then 3G refuses to connect. The only way to reconnect to 3G is by rebooting the phone. This happens probably 2 out of 5 times.

Another thing regarding 3G is that sometimes it just "breaks", even if I have signal, the 3G icon vanishes and I'm not connected to 3G anymore. This happens roughly twice a day. Only way to fix this is by rebooting phone. Airplane on/off doesnt work.

Also, I've had many instances of texts not going through using Handcent SMS. The same applies with the stock messaging client too. I've sorta replicated failing to send sms's a couple times and I think that if I send an sms and immediately lock the phone, sometimes the phone doesn't send the text. When I go back into Handcent, the message indicator status just keeps spinning indefinitely. So right now, my only solution is to watch the text until it completely sends.

Other than those two problems, which don't very bother me very much as I've gotten used to them, I really enjoy using this rom as my main. Thank you devs for all the hard work!! :D

I experience this too. I just assumed my phone was defective.

Here's the screenshot. Sorry, I actually charged up to 100% that time so it's really 100-27%. I use airplane mode at night and when I'm somewhere without signal. CPU is set to 122-1024 with the interactive governor. Besides that, though, I don't do anything to conserve battery.

I should also mention that the steep line down at ~50% is when I updated to 0.6.11.

Minimum stable voltage is independent of what app writes the script file.

So far I haven't lost signal since changing the roaming settings. I'm thinking that might be the solution. There isn't any roaming on VM so it's not costing anything. I'll update in a day or two and let everyone know if it's still holding.

I just flashed this rom, and everything seems to be working good.. I was running CM7 TG-Reloaded before this.

Much nicer interface but it seems like the phone lags in performance

you must have a Gods phone.

First post, so I would like to thank all the devs for their awesome work!
Now the question/comment.
Using 0.6.11.0 and have it set to turn wi-fi off when sleeping to preserve the battery. I have noticed that once off, the only thing I need to do to get it back is to turn it off and back on. Not a big deal but I was wondering if there was a trick to have it not happen.
Thanks!

:
I'm lost here do I download 0.6.11.0 or 0.6.11.1

06.11.0 has btwlancoex file disabled wich if enabled and you use bluetooth and wifi at the same time it maxes out your cpu and keeps it running at max. 0.6.11.1 has btwlancoex enabled for those who wish to have that particular file enabled nothing else has changed from 0.6.11.0 basically the same roms just one has the file mentioned turned on and the other not
Edit: it was also an attempt to fix netflix streaming but didnt work

Yes, this is true, but I could not determine the minimum stable voltage for some of the lower frequencies because System Tuner won't allow me to test voltages lower than 750mv. I drag the slider all the way to the left and use the minus buttons, but it will not allow values lower than 750 even for frequencies as low as 122. I have read that 600mv has worked with the lower frequencies, but I cannot test this because I can't even enter those values. Incredicontrol did allow me to enter lower values - even if it couldn't actually apply them due to the init.d issue.
