Root [ROM][ALPHA] Triumph CM9 v0.6.17.0 [FINAL]

In general though, nothing there seemed to be definitive since there is no way to measure the actual voltage, It seems like the best that could be done is an indirect test. For instance, if the system uses the lowest supported voltage when someone tries to enter an unsupported number below that, it should default back to 800. Assuming that 800 is stable at the lowest frequencies, that should also mean that any value that I enter should be stable at those frequencies. I should not be getting any reboots at the lowest frequencies because it should always default back to 800 if I enter any values below it. Yes?
Assuming all that ;)
yes... that is the way I understand it too.

Anyone else having issues getting the phone in landscape mode? Sounds dumb but after the last update I can't get my home screen to auto rotate, I like having my phone sideways and not being able to set it is annoying, I have auto rotate set and everything but no luck

No, I haven't. Just a thought, though...
It's there a setting in the launcher for that?
I've been using Apex, so I can't remember about the stock launcher.

There is a setting and I have it set, I was using 10.3 line updated and now its stuck in portrait, all other apps and everything rotate correctly just not hmescreen or app drawer I've tried different launchers like apex as well but they rely on systems settings for rotation and don't have a specific setting for them

If you made a backup before updating, you can restore that and then change the setting in question. Reboot. You can then try another update after making a new backup.

If you don't have a backup, you can try to reflash the rom you had installed with the setting in question. Once it is installed, change the setting back and then reboot. You can try another update.

Since you are having such problems, you might want to consider doing a factory wipe before trying to update again.

Good luck!

So is that something that doesn't work for you?
Just seems like it would be simple to switch launchers, unless you have a specific issue with them.

Have you tried clearing data on the launcher app?

Can't get camera working even after update, using files from other mobile with working ics camera. Build (msm8655) adreno 205:confused:

I recommend reading the very first post :)
Here it is in case you missed it:

what doesn't work:
-Camera
-Tethering (USB)
-Netflix streaming
-HDMI
-All system settings are undergoing rapid development upstream, they may or may not work
-Everything else NOT listed in the "What WORKS" section
STOP!! I understand that the use of the word NOT may be confusing to some. Please look up the screen about 2 inches. There is a section labeled "what WORKS".

ASK yourself: "Self, is the feature I'm looking for on that list?"

If the answer is "No, it is not on the "what WORKS" list.

I wonder what that means? Hmmm...

Golly gee! I think that just MIGHT mean "THE FEATURE IS NOT WORKING!"

So i flashed CM9 to check out the progress & it was in german as far as i can tell ? Why ? does anyboby know what's up with that ?

When u flashed gapps and u first boot up there's the setup wizard the very first screen u need to change the language to English it might have been set on say German for instance or some other language don't know why but it happens to me sometimes I think there a setting in the rom itself after the wizard to change it but I guess it might be hard to tell what u were choosing if u can't read the language lol

I mean I know my way around the rom kinda from playing with previous builds, but I don't read German so without English it's a lost cause, not like CM9 is my daily driver so to speak. No USB tethering that's a bummer for me I use my phone to tether internet to my laptop.

go to settings (einstellungen), scroll down to language and input (sprache & input), then click sprache and select English united states (or language of choice.)

I put CM9 6.11.0 on my MT the otehr day to give it a whirl. I also loaded the gapps-ics. One thing odd I noticed was that using the browser, on all hyperlinks in every page I visited the actionable spot on the links shown was approximately 30 to 40 pixels above and to the right of the displayed link. I downloaded Dolphin HD and found the same issue. I tried Opera and the issue appeared there as well. Has anyone else experienced this?

Nope. Works fine on my phone. I've tried both Chrome and Stock browser and clicking directly on any of the links on any page registers as normal. I don't have this offset of 30 to 40 pixels that you are describing.

I would suggest that you try doing a wipe data/factory reset and then reflash the rom.

You can also try turning on the developer options to show touches and show the pointer location to verify that your touches are showing where you think they should be.

If that still doesn't help, go back to the stock rom and test to make sure that your touchscreen is working properly.

It was better I inform you, than someone else; the other person would probably make you feel like a annoying ******...

Sorry for the delayed responce guys but I got landscape mode working, seams I missed the check box in general about trebuchet auto rotate, it overrides other launchers as well as system settings. Thanks for the suggestions though
