Root [ROM][ALPHA] Triumph CM9 v0.6.17.0 [FINAL]

I took a battery tweak file from the Motorola Defy and it seems to work... if nothing else it at least gives You the percentage left on the battery icon...... Its called 1% battery zip.

It's already in CM9:
Settings- System- Status Bar- Battery status style

Using 0.6.14.1, having trouble of deleting apps. Keep showing me computing the storage, and when I uninstall apps, it stuck in uninstalling.

hey has this been looked into? (sorry cant do links cuz im new) but it is basically people using older kernels (like froyo and gb) to force camera support. it works minimally on the motorola defy which has a 5mp camera exactly like the one on the MT.

has it been tried?

I don't have a problem uninstalling any apps when uninstalling using Manage apps. You may have a bad flash. Or if reflashing doesn't work, you may need to do a full wipe/data reset.

Using 6.14.1, does the battery adipose to drain so fast? I might get about 8 hours, where at first I was getting 12 hours

If you're using wifi or bt, your battery "may" be discharging faster since btwlancoex is enabled in 0.6.14.1 which will cause your cpu to be running at full speed all of the time when either bt or wifi is enabled. If you don't have a specific need to have btwlancoex enabled, then you may want to consider switching to v0.6.14.0.

I've been searching to no avail, what is the reason to have btwlancoex enabled?

Thanks for the fantastic work on this rom, by the way! Love it!

This allows you to run bluetooth and wifi simulaneously. For instance, you might be using bluetooth headset for free internet calling via wifi. Most people though do not need this because they only use bluetooth with either regular calls or porting music to their car stereos.

I just checked. The links work fine. The files are kind of big so either be on wifi or download it using a computer. Also, if you are using your phone, you may need to change the user agent for your browser to desktop according to some other posts I've seen.

I try from phone and tablet and it just takes me to a blank white page

Thanks for all of the support everybody.

For anyone that's having troubles with the softkeys not lighting up, you can do one of the following for now:

1. Enable automatic brightness: System settings --> Display --> Brightness
and check the box for Automatic brightness.

or

2. If you don't want to use the automatic brightness, you can do this but this will only work until the you reboot, then you need to do it again:
a. Enable Automatic brightness.
b. Click OK.
c. Disable Automatic brightness. The softkey LED's will work now as expected--until you reboot.

Thank you so much. That was just driving me batty.

I also think researching the green lens kernal of the Defy is worth while..... The battery percentage icon is also better, and white not blue...

Despite my whining about lack of camera, the ROM is very stable and very smooth (compared to how it was a few months back). The only thing I don't like is the screens max darkness and brightness are significantly less than MIUI GB. I can hardly see it in bright sunlight when the brightness is up all the way. Any way of tweaking it?

The sense multitasking thing has to be built in from source.
It is up to v2 now, and includes a landscape mode screen with reflections.
I expect Mantera will add it in his next build (not to put words in his mouth or anything)... just giving info.

Is anyone having the problem that backlight don't come on after removing phone from your fave after a call. I have to push the power button to turn on the backlight. I am using 6.14.0
