well Dan, i couldnt keep away for long, ive flashed your latest as well as fastboot flashed your hboot and 4ext recovery.
i couldnt settle with mildwild, it was like a piece of me was missing :D,
i will miss the icons and things so i will just have to visit uot,
also i didnt have any issues using titanium batch restore on your rom, so not sure what the issue was there,
im glad you have sorted the reboot menu now! awesome job fella, i never doubted for a second that you would sort it,
on behalf of myself and pretty much everyone on this thread, i salute you sir, your dedication and your help assisting me and others,
if im in leeds sod the beer ill bring a bottle of whiskey!! :D
good job pal!!

I'd had the same thought, but will give it a couple of days before testing those tweaks (and have a good look at what's in them first).

ROM solid so far - as Ducky says, it feels like coming home.

And just to second Rasta, if you ever want a beta tester we're here :)

Thanks.

Every time I tried to download mildwild to have a look at these scripts, it fails.

Anyone who has them fancy mailing me them please? I'd like to look too...

I had a good look at them and some say thalmus in them, do I'm just gonna get dgb set up again how I like it and then ill nandroid and try them.

I think he has put 77tweaks together from various sources. I see a coiuple of bits in there that dGB has. But I also see has has put some things in twice, with different values

Also looking at 98supercharger, looks like it calls another script /data/supercharger.sh.

hi guys,

will be trying out the new dGB shortly - cant wait :)
mildwild has been good to me.....but dGB still my fave

thanks for all the effort Dan

cheers
dan

I'll have a look when I finish work and see if I can find it, if i do ill email it to you.

Interested in trying this, but my main issue last time I used dGB (I've since returned to the HTC 2.3 build) was the fact that once the 65mb hboot was installed the phone took a hell of a long time to start. Is this still the case?

Me too, but this rom is well worth the wait, they will always take longer the first boot anyway, so give it a go and see what you think, to be honest I only just tried a different rom but I only tried it for a couple of days and returned to dgb, i really do like this rom its definitely my favourite rom to date, and unless your flashing a kernel (which you don't need to do with the latest version Imho) I never have to reboot, its either in my pocket, being used or on charge. Been with dgb since version 1 and it just keeps getting better.

It does take a while to boot up, as do some others. It is a small price to pay for an excellent ROM. Not a big enough reason to not use the ROM in my opinion. Best one I have tried.

I used it for a month or so at the end of last year & really liked the improved speed, battery life, and some of the tweaks, but missed some of the Sense stuff (e.g. the calendar, the clock, and little things like the fact that if I didn't have 3G enabled & sent a picture message it enabled it, sent, then disabled it.) Every night when I go to bed I switch my phone off - I'm at home, have a land line, and although my mobile almost never rings I don't want it to start in the middle of the night - and put it on charge. That long start-up time the next morning was the main reason I went back.

If the boot time was as short as mine is now, and if I could find replacements for the calendar & clock (tried a few, didn't like any) I'd go back to dGB.
