Sorry Xreo, I've been pretty busy. I don't think I'll be able to test until this weekend at the earliest :/ A long wait I know, but I have to keep school first :p
 
No worries, I understand that school does come first, I'm back there to and I have no idea on how to port and get a rom working so I got no problem waiting
 
Right well I now have this ROM on the phone and I'm very impressed.

I have the odd minor issue but don't think they're ROM related.
However just to check, if someone has Tasker installed can they set up a task to turn the slider off and see if it works, please? Mine's not getting switched off - it wasn't in Redux 2 either, but was in Redux 1.2 so I think I may have messed something up with my backup and restores.

Otherwise it's great. I'll switch to the recommended kernel later today.
 
Have been looking forward to flashing this and finally did it last night after a couple of drinks to calm my nerves!
All went perfectly and now have this great ROM!

That's awesome man. I can't wait to try it out. Though I understand the hold up with Nick, I'm in the same boat. Up to my eyes in homework.
 
He does indeed say that.

Also I used the hboot patcher to create an identical copy of the Oxygen r2 hboot (to make sure it was generating valid files), so it's definately the new type it patches.
 
btw, i cannot seem to get mms working on this rom no matter how i do the apns
i receive quite a few pics from mates and i just cannot get this working

im on o2

seems its o2's fault. they no longer support 9201 as a port for mms
 
SU,you have a recommended radio for this ROM?
I don't have an specific issues, i.e. it all works, but sometimes the phone seems slow to switch onto H from 3g, it it does at all. In the same locations that used to have full H signal no it seems to flick back and forth between H and 3g, if it mananges to get on to H.
Current radio is the std Froyo one that came with the phone: 32.48.00.32H_5.10.05.30
 
I dont recommend a radio as whats best for one is not so good for another. Try a newer one though perhaps, thats been around a while that one.

Dont forget you have to fastboot flash radio radio.img
