Had a problem today in that the camera force closes every time, I've downloaded another camera app and it takes pictures fine and I got a shortcut app for the camcorder which also works fine. Have you got the camera apk so I can try and reinstall it.

It's in the Rom zip. Did you try clear data etc? It's not a Rom issue

Cleared data, tried using Rom apk, tried different Rom versions and kernels still not working.

No doubt i will try this rom soon. Just trying the latest test version of redux at the mo. Very Happy with it, although i have downloaded yours aswell. Is it Manu compatiable yet?

Uses the Redux kernel for now. Eventually will be ManU kernel by Eviollet (recommended)

Just means its not packaged with manu as I wanted but its still the recommended kernel. Sorry for not being clear

Tried to clear dalvic but still not working, ill have to try a full wipe when I get the chance and start again.

Have done, factory reset, format system, data and reflashed the rom but still no luck???? Any ideas??

very odd :/ put a different hboot (or if custom mtd try a different rom compatible layout) on and try a different aosp rom that has the stock android camera on it.

Ill bang a new mtd of 90 on and flash redux again, if it works ill try dgb again and report back.

Yeah only flashed rom and boot patch.

Have you checked md5sum of the download? Or downloaded it again?

Had you edited the downloaded Rom at all? This is really odd. What kernel are you using? Or just default?

Re downloaded 1.4 and hey presto, it works again thank you very much. Saved me loads of hassle. Dunno why it went kaput coz i tried going back to 1.3 and it still didnt work. But the fresh download sorted it. Phew!! Panic over. A weird one though eh?
