Also, I have a newer version of the black AOSP MMS app here for those who want it. This has all the new bug fixes that were pushed to the Nexus S in the 2.3.2 OTA incorporated into it (i.e. clicking a thread and having it taken to the wrong one, messages being sent to the wrong people, etc.)

I am trying to install this but when I select the zip file and click Yes to install, it gets stuck on Installing Update. Has anyone had this issue?

So, I'm going to be starting on the Blur restoring menu of the Toolbox in a bit. What are some common apps people like to restore from the removedapps archive?

The only ones I can think of off the top of my head are like the hotspot app, status updating widget, and weather widget. Any others you want included?

I'll second for an option to use the blur gallery. Also I know some people like the aosp camera app but I like the widescreen camera the x comes with.

I'm thinking about jumping on the twitter bandwagon just to follow Fab and some other tech sites, lol.

This. The Blur alarm and desktop clock are fantastic. Oh, and make sure we can add back the weather from blur.... it is the only one that works with the moto dock that I can tell.

i know you can change the backround or add a pic in the backround by changing or adding a .png so i would imagine its not far off for the text

I gleaned what I could from this post (thanks lynseyw) and edited the eri.xml file before flashing (using a hex editor and 7zip).

The instructions seem worse than they are, but I didn't use adb to push it. I would assume you could ninjamorph the .xml file but I just did it before even flashing the ROM (Apex that is).

Inside the framework-res.apk there is a folder named "res" I believe. Inside that is an XML named "eri" Inside that you can edit the dropdown text. Faber has a tutorial for it on his theme thread, don't have the link on hand.

once you have actually gotten the pulldown you want its quite simple, just use ninja morph, How-To: Droid in Notification Drop Down Bar - xda-developers that tells how to do it.

and i think if fab asked kejar how he did the liberty toolbar pulldown edit, he may tell him ^_^ or give him advice or help on it

hey fab how difficult would it be to theme swype with apex in it?

say how darkslide is, and where darkslide is on the spacebar, do you think you can do soemthing similar but have apex on it?

just curious, i love the darkslide swype theme, and keyboard theme, just wondering if you had any ideas of implementing that

No, that sounds right. All that the widget add-on does is is sort widgets from the same program. So if you have Beautiful Widgets, instead of having all of the different types of widgets listed out on the select screen it puts them into one folder which you can then select from on the widget menu. It makes for a much more clean and easier to navigate menu all in all.
