Root [ROM][Beta][FINAL] CM7 Android For Triumph [Tickerguy Edition, Kernel: mine] 11/19

I do not know if this still applies to the newer builds but when I first learned of this issue on the older builds I found out that it only occurs based on the order in which you turn them on. I believe if I recall correctly you could fire up bluetooth while wifi was off and then turn on wifi and all would be fine. However I may be wrong and it might be vice versa. but you'll just have to try for yourself. Hell you might not even get that chance on the newer builds but it's worth a shot if you want em both on.

Thanks! I'll try that. Your answer might explain why sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. I only use them together for Netflix so I've stuck to wired headphone lately. I'll test it out tonight.

Nope, still wont send. I'll just format everything (including /data) when I upgrade to B7 and see if that helps.

For anyone else that might have run into the issue where Gmail refuses to actually send email (or properly sync when youve read/archived a message) the issue (for me) was related to having an app Seal installed. See here for more info:

Re: Gmail app won't send emails

Revoking root for Seal and changing its protection method to 'generic' fixed everything right up! I suppose uninstalling Seal also works. ;)

Mine does this everytime I restore from titanium, I have to uninstall Gmail, and reinstal from the market.

Has anyone reported Market problems after using this ROM? I flashed this last night, and I haven't been able to download anything from the Market since then. It just says "Starting download".

Market works fine for me. You flashed the correct gapps after the ROM?

this happened to me today. i went to manage applications, clicked market, forced close, then clear data. then restart the market and try again.

I get this every time on first boot after flashing cm7 with gapps. Goes away after the first time I reboot.

I also have the gmail issue after restoring from Titanium. Seems to go away if I go into account and sync settings and turn my Google account sync off and then back on. I get a option that pops up asking if I would like to activate my Google account.

No issues on Market (or anything else for that matter) for me.

But I am using the latest Market 3.3.11 found here: [App]New Android Market 3.3.11 - xda-developers and I recommend it.

You can flash it through CWM and it's excellent.

Just in case anyone else is having issues with the amazon market since its update a few days ago it isn't caused by the mod. appearently they are getting so many inquiries they are issuing a $5 dollar credit if you call and ask about it..or at least they were saturday. in any case its a known issue and appears to be wide spread

Question, On stock my keyboard was working fine, while on Alpha [I'm on beta now] the symbols key or just the lower left of the screen was unresponsive to touch, everything else works-launcher, apps, and browser don't seem to have an issue with that portion of the screen.
I'm about to reflash the V.7 and wipe data but just in case that doesn't do the trick, anyone got any ideas or something that might help me?
Thanks, Belated thanks to TG :] hopefully i learn how to work the innards of this phone so i can provide help on this. Toodles

Yeah, I would try a fresh install (try wiping the cache as well as system and data). It is possible that you have an app somehow interfering. Test it before you add any apps back in, if it works test it between every app you install to make sure they don't screw it up until you have all your apps back and the screen works right. It is also possible that your screen is malfunctioning in that area and it just happened to start when you made the ROM change.

The only thing keeping this from being my main is the random reboots.
other than that, amazing job.
How often are you getting them? When? I have not experienced a random reboot (or any reboot I didn't do) in ages. Have you done a fresh install to make sure it isn't something related to that?

I haven't had a BOOT on my phone in, well... you look.

If it's crashing on you it is not the firmware.

That's a full week on a single "boot". Nice.....

I am sad to see you go. But I respect your decision to leave. And thank you for CM7. Maybe you can help out on CM8? (JK, although that would rock, I know you'll be doing it for your new phone when the time comes.)

This might be coincidental, but I will occasionally get a reboot when there is a lot of data traffic. I can keep an uptime for many days on normal use (139 hours at the moment), but when I tether my laptop then run some torrents for a while, it reboots

Wonder if there's any way to find out which app(s) crashes it. Mine reboots pretty often too. BTW I am using Go Launcher EX, wonder if you guys use that or not?

I use both Launcherpro and GoLauncher (pretty much depending on my whim of the day) without problems. I've also run some fairly hard-core tethering sessions (multiple hours worth) without problems. Without catching it in a crash with a logcat it's tough to know why it's happening but I've had no problem in terms of stability with these last many loads (back to the first Beta version) at all.
