Root [ROM][Beta][FINAL] CM7 Android For Triumph [Tickerguy Edition, Kernel: mine] 11/19

You know we are in for a treat when he says "I have a surprise" Here's what I think he may be "giving" us: (all or just one of these would just kick ass!)

WiFi Tether (for realz)
Front Facing Camera
HDMI out
Hepatic Feedback
The Activation App (stupid, maybe, but that would still be nice)
...

I don't know about y'all, but this is exciting!

Tickerguy officially ruined my night. 12:01 A.M. I check this thread daily, at least 2-3 times waiting for something with Front Facing Camera, HDMI, and Possibly Wi-Fi Tethering. Love what Tick has done, but now I got somethin' on my mind I can't push aside for the moment. Hopefully he's up right now uploading it!

I am sure if you think about it hard enough, you can figure out what the surprise is... It's clear as day what it is. ;)

I could understand clear as day. I don't know what it is, so it isn't that clear. Maybe you've read post by post every day. I just check the main post, so I have no idea if he posted about working on something specific or not. If you know, care to tell?

Anyone else having problems with the proximity sensor during phone calls? My phone is constantly blinking and occasionally I hang up with my ear. Looked through the settings but didn't see anything that might be causing this. I use launcherpro, don't think that would cause it though

Yes I still have that problem as well. I tried checking "Use proximity sensor" and the "left handed mode" as some users mentioned, but neither work for me. I've hung up on my girlfriend a handful of times :D

well when the phone starts flashing for me i just push the lock button to turn screen off manually, i know its a drag to do maybe but least the screen wont be flashing cuz instead of hanging up on my gf i tended to mute myself and she saying hello hello over and over again i was like wtf? lol so u can just do that, im sure it be fixed later on though : )

i put the new cm7 on 3 days back and about 5 times since then if i let the phone go into sleep mode and not used it for (say) 1-2 hours then i got to take battery out to start it back up again any help on this, i do leave the w-ifi on is that the problem (i thought that been fix) i thought when phone goes into sleep mode with wi-fi on it knocks off and when phone comes out of sleep the wi-fi come back on (or did i read that right in earlier page??)

Yes this has been covered, best to shut off wi fi if your not using it or before the phone goes to sleep. It fixes the restart issues and I'm sure Tickerguy and Isaac know about it from earlier threads. The phone is much more stable with wifi off but considering this phone is out less than 3 months Tickerguy and Isaac have done a phenomenal job! Thanks!

I know whats gonna be in it from xda-developers where he spilled the beans :) *hint*

Im eagerly awaiting the next build. Love gingerbread on the triumph.

So in light of the pending good news, I have a question for you guys: how do I delete the old CM7 updates from my phone? Going into the windows directory won't seem to let me delete them. The option doesn't even come up, and hitting the Delete key does nothing. They take up quite a bit of space, so I'd like to remove them.

This is another newb question, I know. Sorry guys! ;)

Sounds like your microSD card is in read-only mode. If you are using a microSD to SD card adapter, try flipping the switch on the side of the adapter.
