Root [ROM][Beta][FINAL] CM7 Android For Triumph [Tickerguy Edition, Kernel: mine] 11/19

Tonight when I connected to my PC via bluetooth, it caused wifi to disconnect. In order to get it to reconnect, I had to turn wifi off then back on, sometimes multiple times, but it always ends up disconnecting.

not sure if this is me or this rom but I've noticed the speech to text doesnt seem to always work on my phone, sometimes it will be crossed out sometimes it won't. Has anyone else noticed that?

Any one else having trouble installing apps from the market?? I try to download an app and on the notification bar it shows it is downloading but on the market it doesnt show its downloading, and when it finishes it just disappears from the notification bar without installing.

Front camera is not working wiped /system /cache /dalvik cache and /battery. Not data then tried to install the rom. Then I wiped everything and installed the rom again still doesn't work. Then I tried other programs to use the camera with. Nothing I need help.

Maybe your camera is broken? have you tried going back to stock to verify that?

Tickerguy, Thank you so much for your time and work on this ROM.

If it wasn't for this ROM, I would have returned this phone the first week I purchased it.

As for people posting about random reboots, I have not experienced this.
*knock on wood*

I actually had a whole buttload of reboots prior to putting this rom on here. It also seems my lag/freeze/crash issues have been greatly improved if not stopped all together. I also have seen my back button issue almost completely disappear. :D

There are some apps that will not work properly like my ultra keyboard but for the stability and performance that was improved, It's worth losing a few apps. All the other minor bugs, They are easily ignored. =]

I, Too, Would have likely re-sold this phone if I had left it stock one more day. Thanks Tinkerguy and whoever is helping you. ^_^

Note that the screen, when it's on, is a MAJOR pig as is Wifi. Wifi in particular is NASTY when actually moving data...

Does the tx power setting in the qcom_cfg.ini do what I think it does? I have scaled it back to 5 mw from the stock 30mw and I still connect fine in 90% of situations. If it is indeed controlling the tx power of the chipset I figure that might be worth a little more power savings for most average users.

I have an issue that just started when i flashed the Beta. Never had the problem with the Alpha builds.

My phone shuts down between 35-40% and says the battery is dead. i can't restart it. when i plug it in and restart it, as it's loading it shows between 1-5% battery, then when the SD card mounts, it jumps up to 35-40%. but, if i unplug it, it dies before it gets to 35%. i've tried wiping the battery stats, but it didn't seem to make a different. anyone know how i can fix this?

only thing i could guess is that you had a battery stat monitor app of some sort once and the statistics are saved in some sort of file on your sd card which is being read by some program on your phone once your sd card mounts and is giving an undesirable stats change to your phone somewhere somehow. are you using as of now any 3rd party batter widget or app monitor of any sorts?

Yes, it does what you think it does; I have not tampered with the stock settings but you might find value in cutting back the output level.

the only external app i've used that has battery information is beautiful widgets. it seems like that just pulls from the system, but i'm not positive how it works. i've never actually used the battery part of it, just the weather. i just searched around my SD care in that app and there wasn't really a cache or anything for the battery. it does seem like it's gotta be somewhere on the SD card, though.

Does this need to be done after every update? I wiped /system and/cache and battery stats. Was the /cache wipe the culprit?

Not a big problem as I already had it on the SD and as soon as I tired to access the market and asked for a new account, I knew I had to re-flash. Just curious:confused:

Please define "broken" - what does it do?

I think SamuraiFox is having the same issue as I am. When I try to take a picture with the front camera (landscape and portrait) I get a pop up saying "Activity Camera (in application Camera) is not responding." In stock it works fine. I have had the issue with all of the builds but I figured since it was in alpha-beta release that is was a fix in the process.

So before when I set the sleep CPU minimum back to 122 I got A LOT of lock ups where the screen would light up but nothing would appear. If I put the sleep CPU minimum back to 245, could this possibly solve the lock ups issue?

My problem is that when switch cameras it just shows a blank image. Black screen. I have no popups.

When I attempt to take a picture I get a pop up saying "Activity Camera (in application Camera) is not responding."

If you read my post I said WHEN I try to take a picture I get a pop up... the same pop up YOU described. Same problem. Only difference is that my preview works and yours seems like it might not.

I have the same problem with the stock (default) camera app, but I use the LGCamera app (from the market) as my default camera app and this problem does not happen when using it.

Tried the app. Waited for app to load but nothing happened. Until it said application is not responding.

If you format /system GAPPS will be wiped as it resides in.... /system. In this case you must reload GAPPS.

If you format /data then all the data (login information, etc) is gone.

If you're coming from anywhere beyond where I separated GAPPS from the build then you should not need to format /system or /data - update "in-place" should be ok. I noted this in the top posts if you read them.

However, no promises on that as I have no idea what you did with your phone. This is especially true if you have replaced ANYTHING in the /system area or run anything that tampers with the /system configuration, including things like the "V6 supercharger" and similar.

In other words if you're doing other than loading ordinary applications then what you did might be incompatible with the ROM in some way, and if you try to load over the top of that all bets are off as I have no way to know what you did and how it might interact with the base load.

I load over the top on my phone all the time - when I'm actively developing I might do it a dozen times in a day. If I KNOW there's an incompatibility I'll note it in the NOTES section in the first few posts, but in the general sense if you're following the upgrade path and are not tampering with the /system area yourself it's fine.

The thing is that most of the people here are tampering with the base configuration in some form or fashion for various reasons (e.g. minimum CPU speed, etc) and as such I have no clue what you're doing or what might be causing it. This ROM is what I run on my phone and while I'm usually a code build ahead of what's posted here because I'm working on it the version posted here is what I had on the phone a few days previous and was happy enough to use, or I wouldn't post it.

I've been having this same issue for the past week. I'm back on stock ROM with no battery monitors whatsoever. Please let me know if you find a solution.
