Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

I feel like a real noob asking this, but what are the last two "toggles" on the notification pull down? Sync maybe and??? I just don't know and can't find any reference to them anywhere...

Holy Freaking Crap! Thats the coolest theme I have ever seen. Im gunna flash that.


Also I have some questions just in general if anyone could help it would be appreciated. I talked to my gf last night. She has 10mbs left on her phone she wants to get rid of the stock apps for her phone but its an LG Thrive. I keep finding different info about rooting that phone. I just want her to be able to do it without bricking it because shes the type that has e-mail and facebook games computer knowledge. Again any help would be appreciated to point me in the right direction.

try posting your questions in that thread bro..the users over there will probally be able to give you the answers your looking for..two different monsters..this phone and an lg i mean

Sorry I had went to the phone list and tryed to do a Ctrl-F and then typed the name of the phone and I guess my browser has a glitch it wouldent find it. Sorry about that.
 
Hey Bloodawn why does google services framework keep crashing and causing the market to stop working right along with the browser? Anyway to fix this?

the market is buggy since they updated it to Play Store so any problems with it are googles fault, theres nothing i can do about it.

what do you mean the browser isn't working? nobody has reported any issues with it and it was fine when I tested it.
 
It was not loading up and would just sit there and do anything. But since wetbike told me to remove the market app and reinstall the one he linked to me, and let it up date it's self. I have not had any more problems so far. So the problem must have been in the market like you said. I must have gotten a bad market or something stayed on my phone when I flashed your new rom and the hexed theme for it. But so far so good after the reflash of the market. I like your new rom it's much faster and I read about getting rid of a couple of things to speed up the G3 and so far all is good.

after you flashed the new 3.3 rom, did you use TittaniumBackup to restore apps and data and system data?

If so, thats the problem with TB, for some reason it just fudges on the system data,app data,etc- it backs up the apps just fine...
but everything else...it fudges..

solution:use ClockworkRecovery to do an advanced RESTORE for the data folder and sd-ext folder, then reboot.

i used TB and after every flash, id restore and something wasnt working, calls not coming through,framework issues...etc

..so i would reflash 3.3,reboot ONCE, so it takes you back to the Recovery.
then do that advanced Restore method i talked about..
reboot again to get to the phones homescreen..
then install anything else.
 
I just found out today that you had your own simple green theme blood. nd then you stopped making it along with others. XP

And on a side note.
While browsing the inter webs and having to download 2.3kk
I went to media fire and click and held on the download button.
The window would dim but no pop up.
I pressed back and tried again.same results.
So I pressed back.
Held the click on the link and when it dimmed I turned off my screen turned it back on.
I then unlocked my phone via the slide bars.
And there it was.
The pop up window.
Is this a new glitch/bug?

No. I don't use titanium back up. I flashed the rom, cleared all the data & cache partitions. Then I booted the phone up, & installed es file explorer from the play store. Then I moved some of the apps in the removed apps zip back into /system/apps.

I don't think this is a glitch, it is just a advertisement campaign from mediafire, now when you click on the download link it open a new window (behind curtains) where the advertisement is, than you have to go back to the download page to click again on the link for the download to begin. Sucks!!!
 
Hey Blood, thanks again for your mod loving even more w/KK 2.3.2 w/GPS fix!
Just wondering since I came from CM7b5, did a clean install to CTM3.3, if there is any haptic feedback on soft keys on phone (non on CM7) and custom bootanimation support? I have it checked in settings. And I had this nice bootanimation I installed on CM7 so I flashed again on CTMOD 3.3 but didn't seem to flash. Thanks again....

the buttons don't have any feedback for normal presses but on long presses it works.

you can use custom boot animations. just make sure its named bootanimation.zip and you place it in /system/media.

Never happens to me before.
I know the right button to press to download. But I like to do the "save link"

Been trying to figure kks Sam mod.
But with my computer down I'm ef'd up.
But enough about that.
I keep seeing post saying "deleting a
Few things to boost 3g" is there more to delete other then. S10 and s11?
I always wanna Max out my 3g speeds
Lolz too bad we can't hack into 4g and get rid of data bottlenecking on our service. XD:D:D
 
OK so trying to get this to work but when i reboot it keeps going from kouma kernel 2.1 to the samsung screen back to kouma just a big loop and has not stoped tried wiping everything and reinstalled but keep getting same thing what am i doing wrong :confused:
