Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

take what we get and then try to improve on it, but can only improve so far and that is it!!!!! so what you have is what you have!!!

No doubt. I'm very happy with my Prevail. I'm one of the lucky ones who has been around from the beginning and seen all of the development over the past year. It's absolutely amazing how far this phone has come. It's funny when I let an iphone user test it out and they see how fast this little sucker is. Then I tell them how much I paid for it and that my monthly bill will only be $35 after my next payment. I get a kick outta seeing how big their eyes get. lol :)

Yeah right:rolleyes: I love my Xbox but 2 things always erked me about it, 1) how much you get charged for the hard drive, whether it comes with the system or bought separately, and 2) after all these years they still wont allow 3rd party wireless controllers to be made.

Heres a dream for the future of phone storage; why not make a hard drive attachment? Smart phones are so thin that it wouldnt be that hard to either make it a little fatter with a hard drive built in, or as an attachment that would go over the back of the phone. This would be a good idea in the next gen to next 2 gen of phones that are getting computing power equivalent to PCs from a few years ago. Having say a 500gb hard drive would allow for even larger applications to be used instead of just a couple mega-byte apps. But I guess for all this to happen they would first need a nuke battery to power everything.

There is a nuke battery.
As small as a jewelry box I believe.
Or is it radio...
Ill bring the link.

pardon my ignorance but how do you drag and drop the apk's i need (and which 1s do i need) to the system/app folder in the zip??

Open the archive with 7zip.
Then drag and drop them.
You'll have to make folders for the apps if you wanna put them in certain spots.
For example. If you wanna put an app in the data section I believe you'd have to make a folder named data
Then a folder inside the data folder called app then you place the apk inside app folder.
So like this
\data\app\Nemus_Launcher_Rare.apk
Then you just drag and drop the data folder (with everything inside) in the apk installer.zip

I always just open the removed apps zip and the apkinstaller zip side by side. I then open the app folder in the apkinstaller zip and drag the apk in to that folder. Close the window, put the apkinstaller.zip on the sd card and flash in CWM.

This way he'all know he can put different apks and not just uninstalled apps.
Manually so to say.
So he knows how to later on.

If I'm installing an apk that I've got from the internet, I just save it to my desktop, open the apkinstaller.zip then drag and drop it in the app folder in the zip. I always make sure to open the app folder in the apkinstaller.zip though instead of just dropping it on top of the folder. Every now and then I'll get 1 that will not install but it is rare.

Happened to me with nemus.
I'm trying to modify it to load faster.
Lolz.
I took a chunk of its full size.
It went down from 1.7 to 1.2 MB (its more of an example cause I forgot. But its something like that amount that I took off.
And I made the clock widgets look nicer. XD

I updated Chrome to fix some shit - Chrome.apk
mediafire changes the extension to .zip so make sure you rename it back to .apk

Changes:
Fixed a bug with it crashing on some sites
1 mb smaller then the one that comes with 3.6
Faster
Cleaned up some of the theming
You can delete the MxBrowser folder on your sdcard, everything goes to the Chrome folder now.

FYI, just downloaded chrome and it has apk as the extension, no renaming needed.
Thanks Blood!!!

just copy it to /system/app and overwrite the old one

Lol, got it. I was just opening it in the dolphin download folder and clicking install haha. I know better than that just not thinking straight. Father in law passed away a few days ago and were all in our on little world at my house lately.

Looks like opera when you open a new tab.:)
