Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

Yep. I edited my post above and added the browser from 3.3. It should work with no problems.

The 3.3 Browser works fine, thanks for that.

Dre Beats - could not find it on the market, the closest thing to it is called "Beats By Dr. Dre", being a Hater Of All Rap/Hip Hop and anything else that does not use real live Bass lines in their music, (for the record rap/hip hop is not music) and being a Bass player for the past 27 years, I cannot and refuse to install any such thing on my phone.

I'll find another way.

your crazy then bro. the sound files are exactly the same from rom to rom, and I have 2 prevails I can compare right next to each other. If I turn up the ringer volume near the Max it starts to distort and the in call volume does too.

Your right about beats tho, it does change the volume levels, so if your happy using it that's cool.

At full volume my ringtones and all sounds coming from the phone really are not that loud. Even when using the speakerphone it seems quieter than before.

-I tried manually editing my media files I use for ringtones and bumping up the levels in an editor but when they play it is still at the same level.

I use the same volume fix for the older version everytime
a new version comes out.works good.

I think since 3.2 sound has always been low.
But after flashing the fix it works great.

You're right Xan78, I had the same problem a little while back and posted this in this thread, but I don't think bloodawn has ever looked into it. I think only you and I noticed this, lol :p
 
anybody know if prevail kernel could support something like voodoo sound? on my old fascinate I could boost power to speaker directly from kernel. wouldn't have anything to do with ROM but idk if that even possible with this phone

Then they trade off and they agree it has peanuts but it doesn't.
Its the same thing. Your brain just believes its "delicious" because you flashed something that was ment (to its respective version) to make the volume better.

haven't tried yet but will see if works??????
 
all my vol. are good exept for speaker when i talk hands free. just not really loud enough. everything else is good. now music is loud on speaker(way loud) just in call speakerphone vol??????????????

Also, the EQ is not called DreBeats. I can't remember what it's called because I've only tried it a couple of times a while back but it did make a difference. Maybe 1 of the other fellas can give you the name of it.:thumbup:
 
Not a huge rap/hiphop fan myself, but that beats audio does improve the sound somewhat. Mine was having the same issues, if any background noise I'd have to hold the phone at my ear to even hear it.
