Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

you could try redoing everything by using odin to EJ06 rooted with CWM then flashing the rom and seeing how it goes

if it still dies that fast then the battery is probably messed up or your in a place where your searching for signal alot and its draining you

either you have something constantly running or you have a battery/hardware problem.

I found with Carrier IQ removed my battery drains slightly faster, but I still get 28+ hours out of a charge at moderate to slightly heavy use. Light use 36 hours is possible.
And like blood said weak cell signal will increase battery use.
I also have that.
I have dozens of tall pine trees in my neighborhood and they cut my cell signal at home my data speeds on 3g are 100kbps or less.
 
would carrier iq being removed cause the battery to die that drastically between 6-8 hours with moderate use?

i see...i have a garbage signal at home...lucky to get 2 bars occasionally ..it looks like standby uses the majority of the battery..i guess the phone is constantly searching for signal..especially when not in use?

im going to buy a new battery... ive noticed it getting worse over the 6 months ive had the phone

Thanks for the awesome rom. I really like it. My question is whether there is a way to make the status bar transparent? I still use zeam with the full display option. But many of the wall papers I have a nice fade to dark at top and bottom. Is there a way to make the status bar transparent when it is in view(when i hit the menu button)? I enable transparency or dark fade in the dock.

I made the status bar transparent in CM7 before but I'd have to test and see if it works for this since they are different versions of android

how transparent do you want it? 100%, 75%, 50% or some something else

I like to see right through it or 100% transparency. If the wallpaper is dark enough or the right color, your white text should "pop" right out. and the black bar wont jump out. Thanks!

forgot that when i first made the rom i enabled status bar transparency. I just had to make the images transparent

after your phone boots up go into Zeams settings, go into Workspace and disable Manage Wallpaper
 
step 5 isnt showing in my recovery mode, just something about run sdcard:/update.zip and that file cant be found. im runnin gingerbread 2.3.5, any ideas?

you have to be rooted and have cwm installed.

It is probably easier to use the Odin utility to install Chin Checka's image and then go for CTMod.

No luck with Odin. New USB cord also. Any more ideas other than tossin the phone out my 3 story window?

Can you get into "download mode" and does "Odin" recognize it?
